Jazz's POV:

He tried not to put up a grimace into his face while talking to the people who suddenly wants to talk to him about business.

Tonight, business wasn't on the menu, he was just here for formalities, not to mingle around with people who only wanted to make use of his name.

He sighs a little.

He's worried to Layana.

Not because she's stupid or anything, but she was so innocent to this world a lot of wolves will come and get her.

His eyebrows met because he couldn't catch a glimpse of her in their table because of the people around, and their table was a bit far from him.

Damn it.

He sighs a little when he remembers her sweet innocent face when he put that ring on her finger.

She was blushing, panicky...but nevertheless very beautiful.

She literally took his breathe away.

A surge of possession came into him while thinking that she was wearing the ring that he gave.

It's a sign that no one will dare to get closer on her.

He was marking his territory.

Because Layana is his.

And he needed to go back to her now.

"Excuse me, I need to attend my date...she's waiting" he said not waiting for any reply.

He blinked fast when he saw her with a man.

She was laughing and mingling around with a stranger.

Sa kanya lang dapat ang ngiti nito.

Sa nadaanan niyang mesa ay wala sa loob na inilapag niya iyon, not caring who the hell was there.

What's more important now, was Layana.

She's mine!

His steps hurried and jealousy filled him when he saw his hands touches her bare shoulders.

Damn it! I should've bought a shawl! he said in his head while gnashing his teeth irritatingly.

"And where do you plan of going with my girlfriend?" he cut in irritatingly.

His eyes cue a warning on him while eyeing his hand.

"Jazzzz!" he heard her say and he saw that blush from her neck up to her cheeks.

He immediately scanned and he saw glasses of champagne.

She's drunk.

"Let go of her" and this man made a move and purposely getting her drunk.

Nagtagis ang bagang niya.

He wanted to punch this man but, what's important now was Layana.

Masuyong hinila niya ito papalapit sa dibdib niya.

"Huwagg mo siyang awayin...bait siya eh, ang tagal mo kasiii" his wild eyes became soft in an instant when he heard her.

"Nahihilo ako" she said and he softly planted a kiss above her head.

"Sir Jazz? Ah, sorry gusto ko lang siyang alalayan para umuwi na siya kasi lasing na--"

"Yeah, whatever, let's go Layana" he said and he carefully carried her.
