Chapter 15: Gem heist

"The human zoo" You said. "I can't believe it still exists" Pearl said. "Dad's gotta be in there. We just have to find him and bust him out" Steven said. You we're at the controls now. You flew the ship inside. Everyone gasped. "Those gems" amethysts said. "Amethyst guards" You said. "Right like we could just waltz up as an owner less Pearl and (g/t), a Fusion and and you" Peal said looking at you Garnet and than Steven. "We just need disguises I'll be Esteban Universedad" Steven saidout" Steven, It doesn't matter what your name is, we're all going to stand out" You said. You turned around upon hearing Garnet unfuse. You saw a ruby and a sapphire holding hands. "We won't stand out if we'll play the roles we were made for". " Ruby, Sapphire" Steven said. "Okay everybody hear her out" Ruby said. "Today I'm a Sapphire traveling with my Ruby guard" Ruby hummed in response " And my personal Pearl and (g/t)" You and Pearl both hummed in union. "Esteban, I brought you as an offering for the zoo" "Pobrecito Esteban" Steven said holding his cheeks. "Ehh what about me?" Amethyst asked. "You're accompanying me as extra muscle" Sapphire said. "Muscle like them?" Amethyst asked. "Exactly" Sapphire answered. "But I've never even seen another Amethyst before, what do I do, what if I say something wrong?"
Amethyst panicked. "Just look appart, you're new and we're rusty, but we just have to sell this long enough to find Greg" Sapphire calmed her down. "Is this really going to work?" Pearl asked. "No" Sapphire said. All of you looked scared. "Just stick together play it straight, let's change the future" She said.

You all stepped out of the ship "You'll never cage me you rock heads" Steven said. You walked up the stairs. All of you were kind of nervous. "State your purpose" The amethyst guard asked. "I'm here to make a delivery to the human zoo" Sapphire said. The two Amethyst smiled evily "bad news the human zoo is shut down, which means we'll just have to throw you into space" Steven looked uneasy and scared. "Oh look he believed me" The Amethysts laughed. There were heavy foot steps of high heals, they stooped"what are you doing? " The gem asked. "Nothing Holly Blue Agate" The Amethysts saluted. Holly Blue noticed Sapphire standing there. She gasped and kicked one of the Amethysts. "Why didn't you tell me there was a Sapphire here? What have you miss creates have been saying to them?" The Agate asked. "Nothing Holly" The other Amethysts answerd. "You'll have to forgive them hehe they're from earth" Holly said. "Ehm, apologize" She ordered them. "Forgive us" The said. Holly punched them in the shoulders. "Forgive us your clarity" They said again. "No use dwelling on the past. I've brought a new human for the collection" Sapphire said calmly. "How unprecedented, nothing for millenia and than two humans back to back, well it might be for the best the first one wasn't in the best condition" Holly said. "Dad that's him!" Steven said out loud. Ruby shushed him. "Oh their Insesive barking, what is it saying? The other one was loud too and, all that trashing about. I'm sure Blue Diamond will want to thank you personally, but you just missed her" Steven and Ruby sighed. "Amethyst take this human to the-" Holly got cut of by Sapphire. "Wait, the thing is we traveled so far and it would be a shame to leave so quickly, Prehabs you'll grant us a tour of the facility?" She asked. "I would be honored, right this way your grand Clarity" She stopped Amethyst and said "Amethyst are to to guard the door" She said "uhh bu-" "The door".

You walked through the halfway behind Sapphire and Pearl was walking next to her. " Does your Pearl always walk next to you?" Holly asked Sapphire. "I'll just be right here" Pearl said. "Hmm chatty" Holly said. Pearl blushed out of embarrassment. "This facility originally belonged to Pink diamond in houses and staffs the otherwise usles quartz which she produced on what was her colony. But Blue Diamond and her trusted Agate,that's me, had been maintaining this place since the dawn of era 2" You walked to a door. "Is she going to do it or shouls I say something" Holly said. "Oh Pearl the door" Sapphire said. "Oh, right, right heh I got it" Pearl walked to the device "You're so patient with her how do you do it?" She tried to open the door for them. "As a Sapphire I know it will happen eventually" Sapphire answered. "You must be very lucky for owning a/an
(g/t) as well" Pearl finally opened the door "That will be all" Holly said as she walked though. "Sorry" Sapphire said "hang in there" Steven said.

"Do keep up Pearl" Holly said. She pressed a button and the floor under you turned see trough. "The bottom half of this structure is devoted Intirely to specimen containment, apparently humans don't take well to captivity, but once you understand their needs they're easy to control". " It's tragic that Pink Diamonds existence in this universe ended up being so finate, but what a selfless act for Blue Diamond to step forward and spend her own time and energy preserving this place in Pink Diamonds memory, it's a real testament to Blue Diamonds merciful and giving nature don't you think?" Holly asked Sapphire. "Uhh of course" Sapphire answered. "And here of course here's the Human disposal shout" Holly said. "Whaaa? H-how do you get in the zoo?" Steven asked. "Oh there it goes again, those hilarious noises" Holly said. "So how do you get in the zoo?" Sapphire asked. "Excellent question your grant clarity. On the rare occasion, that we would need to enter the containment area, we will do so via the service door" See explained. "Dad, that door is how we get to dad. We just need to come up with a distraction" Steven whispered. "Got it" Ruby said. She looked at you but you shrugged. "As a one way access point there are no risks of an escape in fact it has only been used once for a human-" Holly couldn't finish, because she was cut off by Ruby who yelled "EXPLOSION!".
"Pardon me?" Holly asked. "Uhh I just remembered I left the gravity engine idling. Im sorry my Sapphire I'm so forgetful and disposable" Ruby continued. "What?" Sapphire asked. You motioned to the door with your eyes/eye. "A for seen turn of events, yes it is going to overheat and explode. The damage will be massive" Sapphire 'predicted'. "My word! I don't know why would anyone trust Rubies with those ships? This is what happens" Holly said. "If we hurry we can disable the engine before any damage is done. It should only take five minutes so everyone be on your best behavior" Sapphire said and lifted up her bangs to reveal her eye. She blinked. You didn't get it until Ruby winked. You winked as well. "This way your clarity, although I'm shure you don't need my guidance" Holly said and followed Sapphire. "Grr. I can't believe I'll let stuff about Blue Diamond being merciful. She's a Shatterer. She yelled at Sapphire, she hates fusion and love!" Ruby yelled. "I know Ruby but we don't have much time, we have to open this door" Steven said. "Right, right Pearl, (g/t) can you open it?" Ruby asked. "I'll try but I make no promises" You said. The lock was different. You tried to open it but was unsuccessful. "It doesn't work" You said. "Allow me" Pearl said with a sassy tone. "It's different than the other ones" She tried to open it as well. "Aha!" She thought she had it, but it was wrong. "I honestly can't figure this out at all" She said. "What?" Ruby said "but Pearl you're a hacker" Steven said. "We don't have time for this, Steven help me open the door" Ruby said. "Okay" Steven replied. "And Pearl, (g/t) hack faster" Ruby added. You tried to help Pearl with it. But it didn't work. Ruby wanted to melt the door but it didn't work. She screamed and scratched the door. "I'm so glad were almost back I was really enjoying the tour" Sapphire was almost yelling. "Yes I can tell by the tone of your voice, thank you so much again for reverting that crisis" Holly said. They both gasped. You were leaning on the wall next to the door while Pearl had her hand on the lock and Ruby was holding Steven by his arm. "What is going on?" Holly was very upset about the door. "Oh, well I'm sure there's a reason-" Sapphire started. "Did you see the Amethysts that did this?" Holly asked. You sighed in relief. "Really we have guests. Two Amethysts ran towards you. " Holly Blue Agate! We have Important news for you" The Amethyst said. "We do not run or shout in these halfways!" Holly shouted. "I'm sorry it's just that" The Amethyst mumbled. "How am I supposed to know what you're saying when you're mumbling!" Holly said. "Ehh I'm sorry Holly Blue Agate it's just-" "Blue Diamond is on her way!" They said. "Oh my stars! She's back already?" She said pushing Steven, Ruby, you and Pearl out of her way. "You two best behavior, shoulders squeared, minds cleared! Backs straight!" She said and punched the Amethyst in her back. "And surly Blue Diamond will want to thank you personally. For this special delivery your grad clarity" Holly continued. "Yes is suppose she will" Sapphire said. Ruby had a scared expression. "Well don't just stand there you useless chunks of earth! Make yourself useful and escort that human to the asimulation bay!" Holly shouted. The Amethysts grabbed Steven and walked away. "But they tour" Sapphire started. "Oh your clarity you flatter me. But we really must get ready our Diamond will be here at any moment!" Holly said.
