Charter 22: Made of honor

So, after Ruby proposed to Sapphire. Steven was really happy about it. He started to plan the 'wedding' with them. Steven explained what it was, apparently it was some sort of ritual, that humans have, if they want to stay in a relationship with them. It sounded pretty cute to you.

You were now making the invitations. There were Dolphins and flames on it. Pearl was folding the paper in half, than Steven stamped a picture of Ruby and Sapphire on it, with the words 'you're invited' on it. Ruby and Sapphire were signing the invitations, Period was putting them in the envelopes, Amethyst was closing the envelopes and you were writing the addresses on it (in English of course). "This folding bone is so nice. Who knew that planning a wedding would be so fun?" Pearl said. "I did" Steven said while he stamped another invitation. "Time to sign" Ruby said. Sapphire made a beautiful 'S' and Ruby made a red 'R' on it. "Here you go Peri" She said and handed the invitation to Peridot. "Ugh, we've been stuffing these envelopes all day. How many does that make?" She asked as she handed the Invitation to Amethysts. Amethyst licked the envelope, closed it and than handed it to you. You counted all of the envelopes before writing the address on it for Connies house. "That makes Ten" You said. "Oh, just ten" Sapphire said, sounding kind of sad.

You Were setting up the chairs. Amethyst was 'helping' too. She just threw a chairs in a random spots. You and Pearl had to fix it. While Pearl ran After Amethyst you just sat in a Chair to relax for a bit. Steven was telling Ruby and Sapphire how it'll all be tomorrow. You didn't listen much. You just thought about all that just happened. Steven healing you. You, living with Peridot and Lapis. 'Helping' Navy. Steven getting abducted and being taken to Homeworld. Lapis leaving ant taking the Barn with her. You didn't regret joining the Crystal gems, now that you learned that Stevens mother was Pink diamond. You couldn't wait what will happen next.

You were all outside besides Steven. Ruby was preparing the grill and you were talking with Peridot, Pearl and Amethyst. Peridot leaned on one of the chairs and she fell down,making all the chairs fall as well. Steven came out of the house. He was holding a soda can. He climbed on top of a cooler. He tapped the can with a spoon. "Attention everyone. Please gather around. I'd like to propose a toast to Ruby and Sapphire! Now we all know you guys have been running a little hot'n'cold lately" Everyone laughed. "We're all exited to see you fuse back together, and achieve life loong room temperature happiness. All if us including" He pointed behind you. You all turned around and saw Pearl. "Pearl!" You all said. "Yes! And Pearl. All if us. Including!" He pointed behind you again. "Ehh, Steven. Can I drink this or what?" Amethyst asked. "I'll be right back. And make sure those cans don't drop" He said and went into the house.

You were all sitting on the couch. Ruby was Reading the wedding book Steven made, while the rest of you were holding the cans. Period said who will hold the can longer will win. The warp pad activated. "Hey everyone!" A gem said. "Did you guys 'bismuth' me?" She said. She and Steven smiled awkwardly. All the crystal gems dropped the cans. "Ha, me and (g/t) won! Also less importantly who are you?" Period asked. "I invited Bismuth! I hope that's cool" Steven said. Sapphire walked towards the gem. She revealed her eye. "Bismuth" She said. Sapphire jumped and hugged 'Bismuth'. "Woah, Sapphire" She said. "Bismuth!" Pearl and Ruby shouted as they jumped on the gem, making Bismuth stumble and fall to the ground. "You wouldn't believe what we've all been through. I'm so sorry, we should've" Sapphire said. "Look, I'm right there with you. Steven filled me in". You got off the couch. Amethyst elbowed Steven. " So, is anyone going to introduce us?" Period asked. "Let's give em some space" Amethyst said. "Oh, Ruby, Sapphire. I heard you're supposed to bring gifts to these things" Bismuth said and opened her palm to reveal Two rings. Both Ruby and Sapphire gasped. "Are these not weapons? But Steven seemed to think they'll come in handy". Ruby and Sapphire hugged Bismuth one more time while saying " We love them!".
