We stared at each other for a long time until I turned away from him. I wasn't sure what to say. I wasn't even sure what happened and was finding it hard to wrap my head around Redley's action. I hated how my pulse raced and I hated that I was trembling and thirsty but I was too embarrassed to do anything and just drowned in embarrassment.

"Goodness gracious, nalipasan yata ako ng gutom!" I loudly said, my voice too high-pitched for my liking.

Gusto kong lingunin si Red kasi gusto kong makita 'yung reaction n'ya. I wanted to gauge my sanity through his behavior.

"Green...?" he quietly asked.

"Bakit?" I

"Wala..."

"Okay."

Syete.

Hindi s'ya affected. Not that I would ever admit that I was affected. But, I felt it was unfair that the horrendous awkwardness I felt was one-sided. And it wasn't even me who kissed him.

Walanghiya talaga 'tong kumag na 'to...

I was fuming. I was getting ready to give him a mouthful and a kick in the face for being such an uncaring maggot. How could you just kiss a girl and not apologize? I rolled onto my side to face him and found him staring intently at me.

Holy shit.

For the first time since I could learn to talk, I ran out of words. He continued to stare and I bit my lower lip because it started to tremble. My hands felt clammy and I felt cold as if someone doused me with a bucketful of icy water.

"Green..."

"Gutom na ako," I whispered.

"Ha?" His face registered surprise.

Obviously, it wasn't the reaction he expected and he sounded as perplexed as he looked.

Anong gusto mong kainin?"

"Kahit ano," I replied staring at the wall behind him. "Magsaing ka na, please..."

"Okay," he said before he got off the bed.

OH MY GOD, NAG-KISS KAMI NI RED!

A part of my brain protested at the idea that my first kiss wasn't with someone I was in love with. Instead, it was with a guy whose life I nearly ended due to dump-driving or driving after being dumped.
