The Paladins walk into the space mall all together for a second time. It was a calm day and the universe was at peace for the time being. Everyone was happy for the break except Faith, she wanted to be doing something productive and avoiding the blue Paladin. After the incident on their side quest, Faith just wanted to avoid the blue Paladin.
Kayla walks over to a clothing store. Chase and Lizzy hit the space version of, you guessed it, McDonalds. Cassia went to find some alcohol and escape her children. Levi and Athena got easily distracted by the books in the book store. This gave Faith time for herself. Being the loner she was, Faith went to the third floor and went towards a small booth with a selection of exotic, (I bet you know what she's looking at), Knifes.
She pulled out her Galra blade and showed it to the shop tender curious about where it's from. "You know, you remind me of this mullet wearing asshole who showed up before. He asked the same question" the Shop Tender said. "Really? Then you have an answer right?" Faith pulls the dagger away and eyes the alien. "No, but I would love to buy it from you. I'll give you whatever you want!" The alien reaches for the dagger but Faith walks away. "In your wildest dream fuck head"
Kayla walks out of the clothing store with bags full of clothes smiling. She races to a cafe to notice Faith was siting inside alone staring out the window at the constellations. "Why must she always be everywhere" Kayla matters to herself and orders a simple hot chocolate. She turns to find Faith but notices her walking away. Out of curiosity she follows the loner. "Stop being a stalker McClain" Faith stops walking and eyes Kayla. "Stop being everywhere Kogane!" Kayla sips her hot chocolate. Kayla and Faith walked together and talked along the way. They joked around and stopped at a few stores. They both smiled as they did many stupid things. Kayla saw a different side of Faith for a little while. They really got along and had fun but then Kayla noticed a cute boy walking by. "Hold on for a second Kogane, I'll roast your desperate ass later" Kayla goes over to the boy. "Kayla wait!" Faith watches her leave, she stands there looking at Kayla. She lost that joy she was feeling. Kayla was doing her thing being all flirty and stupid. She and the boy hit off immediately, Faith just watched them. Then she felt her heart sorta just drop to the bottom of her stomach. Anger boiled up inside of her as she watched Kayla hug and act all clingy to the random boy. Faith stormed away, Kayla watched and was concerned for a moment but then focused on the boy who was calling Gn for her
Life went on But it was Never the Same Again
Hours pass, the Paladins have returned from the mall. Faith was already back at the castle sitting on the sofa playing Mario Cart with Athena and Levi. "Did you guys have fun?" Athena asks the others after she crossed the finish line in third place, Levi following behind her. Faith was in second. "Yep! Me and Lizzy got a bunch of Pokémon s-stuff!" Chase shows everyone the bag full of Pokémon plushies and a onesie. "Did you guys have fun?" Cassia flips the question on Athena, Levi, and Faith. "I know me and Athena got some reading in. So I can say we enjoyed it." Levi smiles and looks towards Faith. "Meh... I didn't really enjoy it" Faith got up. "Wait Faith! That's a lie! You where smiling when you where with me" Kayla rushed over to Faith but got pushed away. "Faith dot push me away again!" She grabs her arm. "I'll do whatever I want McClain!" Faith pulls her arm free. "Are you jealous of the boy or something? Look if you like him I have his number I could—" she got caught off by a slap straight across the face. "Never bring up that stupid mall boy again" Faith storms out of the room.
