I love you (CassiaxFaith) 💔🖤

It's not true, tell me I've been lied to...

Cassia walked around the castle. She assumed everyone was asleep, since she couldn't hear a sound. The castle seemed deserted and just dead. Her footsteps could be heard echoing the hallways of the landed ship. It was cold and dark, and again everyone was asleep.

Faith opened her eyes, the tall grass blowed covering the view of the full moon above her. She took a deep breath returning from the world of herself, her head. Tears where in the corners of her eyes.

Crying isn't like you

She couldn't escape the past. She knew this. Nothing would fix it, nothing would change it. If anything the most she would be able to do is relive it. That's the last she would want. It wouldn't be reasonable, it would however be painful.

Cassia walked out onto the balcony where she could see the field near the cliff. The field that was once fun for them all. Also the forest where they used to get lost in. She could see the stars and the full moon. Then she saw the shadow of a girl. She decided to go towards it. Climbing down the vines, and then running.

Faith wiped the tears in her eyes and then sat up. She clutched her arms. She was thinking all she could muster up was enough voice to just say one thing

What the hell did I do?

Faith was lost in the chaos of anxiety. The war over whether or not she would get up and pretend it was okay, or sit there an accept the fate before her. She got her back, so why couldn't she smile. Why couldn't she be honest? Why did she have to overthink and stay quiet? Why is she still here if everyone else left her behind?
She stood up and moved closer.

Cassia arrived and saw the outline of someone standing right in front of her. It was to dark to make out who they where but there was just enough light I see the edge and the distance between them. She ran closer. She grabbed them, wrapping her hands around their waist. Recognizing the words of the girl she was holding

"Why are you here?" Faith asked Cassia trying to remove her hands.
"I saw you... and I got scared," Cassia said not letting go.
"You got scared that I was going to do something stupid right? Because you never seem to trust me anymore." Faith said removing Cassias grip on her.
Cassia could hear the pain and anger in her voice.

Never been the type to let someone see to through you

"Faith... I just want to protect you. I don't want to lose you," Cassia said.
"Now you don't wanna lose me! After your the one that left me! After you died!!" Faith said turning around just to yell at Cassia.

Maybe won't you take it back?

"Faith you know I never planned on any of that happening! I didn't mean to leave you behind. Besides your the one that encouraged me to go!" Cassia said grabbing onto Faiths wrist.
"I wanted you to be happy! Of course I would tell you to go! Your an idiot! The second you left me the first time I had get used to the idea that I would never see you again.... It got to a point where I just wanted you to drop this for me. But I didn't. Because your happiness was what mattered to me! Since the beginning! But you never once thought about me!!!! NEVER!" Faith pulls her wrist away backing up.

Say you where trying to make me laugh

"Faith, off course I thought about you... I never stopped thinking of you!" Cassia said back with tears falling from her eyes.
"Oh really! Because you totally proved that by dying!!! Not once but twice! I had to watch you die twice Cassia!!! And your saying you thought of me!" Faith moved closer and slapped Cassia on the face.
"You only thought about hurting me! Watching me break down and scream right!!!! Because look at where we are now!!" Faith yelled, then she pushed Cassia away. She fell to the ground

And nothing has to change today

Cassia sat there looking up at Faith who had tears streaming from her eyes. Cassia was no better, she'd been crying. She got to hear the truth that she feared.
"I'm sorry Faith..." Cassia says looking away refusing to see her cry.
"That's all you can say.... over and over. I'm sorry! That's all I get an apology. Nothing else," Faith turned around.

Cassia got fed up. She stood up and grabbed Faith turning her around.
"Faith look at me! Enough with this... I care about you so much. I don't want you to torture yourself and think that your gonna lose me. Im right here for a reason. Yes I'll admit sometimes I fuck up and I 'disappear' but I come back. Your always there for me... I want you to remember I'll be here for you. Faith- I love you to much for that..." Cassia said pulling Faith into her arms holding onto her tightly.

You didn't mean to say, "I love you"

"You don't mean that and you know it. If you did you'd never have died... your lying.... stop," Faith tried to free herself.
"Let go! Stop please!!" Faith struggled and freed herself clutching onto her shirt tears continue my pouring from her eyes.
"It hurts...." Faith said falling to her knees. Cassia looks at her. "It won't stop beating and it hurts..." Faith said holding on tighter.

I love you, and I don't want to

"It's all your fault.... it's always been your fault. You put me through all this pain... constantly." Faith said looking up at her.
Cassia moved over and sat next to her removing Faith's hands from her shirt.
"Cassia..." She says her name and took a breath feeling Cassia's hand wrap around hers.
"Yes Faith?" Cassia responds holding onto Faith's hand.
"Cassia, I think you know by now. I wish I didn't and I tried to lie to myself all this time. Cassia I love you... and over loved you for who knows how long. I never wanted to tell you, because I always knew that I'd end up losing you some day." Faith said looking Cassia in the eye.
"Faith I love you too..." Cassia said before pressing her lips against the red paladin. Pulling away only for them to stand there, the sun rising behind them. They didn't move, not wanting to wake up from what they thought might have been a dream.

"I love you..."
