Pride But Online

(Here is the otp I made people wait for..This is my final post for 2020 Pride, this is one of the canonized ships soooooo enjoy and dont cry please. Love you :3)

A short girl with blonde short hair, woke up and looked around. She yawned and slowly got out off bed. She slowly walked into the bathroom and got ready like always taking her time not rushing. She lived in an apartment alone, why would she want to rush.

Faith heard the sound of a notification go off. She reached over to check her phone. Quickly she responded.

AlienQueen: "Morning! :)"

MusicalGenius: "Morning, did you sleep well?"

Faih goes to make some tea waiting for a responce back.

On the other side off the phone. A girl with longer light blue hair was drinking tea and reading a book, smiling. She read the "good morning text" and typing her responce.

AlienQueen: "I slept well, how did you sleep?"

MusicalGenius: "I stayed up late, so I didn't sleep much, but from what I got it was fine."

AlienQueen: "Please try to sleep some more today."

MusicalGenius: "I will I promise."

AlienQueen: "Don't lie to me"

MusicalGenius: "I promise I'm not."

The girl with light blue hair, Athena, went to do her dishes and clean her apartment. She put away her now finished book and went to grab her keys. She rushed over to her car, and went to work.

The girl with blonde hair, Faith, went to put her cup away and sat down at her computer. She started working and checked her phone once more. She texts Athena...

Athena sat at her office and looked over at her phone. She smiles and gets to work. Knwoing she had a little while to go before she can talk to Faih one more time. Just a few more hours.

--Time to Explain--
Faith and Athena have been dating for about one year at this point. They know each others schedules by this point, and have many conversations through text and calls. However, they never met. They've been dating online. Not having the exact money and time to break the distance.

-_A Few Weeks Later_-
Athena woke up and looked at her phone. She checked the date. The first of June. Athena reached for her phone.

AlienQueen: "Morning, I hope your drive is going well. Can't wait till we can talk again."

Athena puts down her phone. Faith had announced about two days ago that she would be doing a small buisness trip. The drive was about a day and a half long, and Faith was barley ever online for obvious reasons.

She did her normal thing, making some tea and reading a book. She got dressed and went to work. She was distracted when she got there. Sitting in her office in silence, not smiling like she normally does. She's been sorta stressed, and again Faith just vanished.

Hours pass, no responce. Athena finished her work. She was still worried. She packed her bag and went back home. Home without a word from her.

Athena exits the car and takes a breath. She grabbed her bag from the car's trunk and closed the doors behind her. She walked inside her apartment to change into something more casual. However, feeling anxious and overworked she grabbed her bag again and walked toward the beach that was a few blocks away.

She slowly made her way to the shoreline. taking a deep breath. Then she received a call. She answered it

Faith: "Hey Athena, I'm so sorry. I just wanted to make sure I didn't get lost."
Athena: "I was so worried! But I understand. Im glad your not hurt..."
Faith: "Im guessing your at your favorite spot at the beach. I can hear the waves behind you."
Athena: "Oh yeah I am. I just needed to calm down..."
Faith: "I understand, I can help you calm down."
Athena: "Just close your eyes and take a deep breath..."
Faith: "And when I get to 3 open them..."
Athena: "Okay. I trust you"
Faith: "1"
Faith: "2"
Faith: "3, open your eyes"

Athena opened her eyes and saw the blonde girl right there. "Hey Athena," Faith said. Athena and Faith both hung up the phone call and wrapped their arms around each other. Both of them crying. "How did you....?" Athean asked. "Your co-workers and the help of snapchat maps." Faith said laughing.

They pull away from the hug wiping each others tears.

"I love you Athena, you mean the world to me," Faith said holding onto her. "I love you to Faith," Athena said smiling now, after all of this. Faith smiles and then kissed Athena on the lips for the first time, after one whole year of waiting.
