Pride Pt.1

(Cassia and Faith)

Faith woke up and felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist. She moved herself closer and turned around. A smile appears on her face. "Goodmorning baby," Cassia said kissing the shorter girl next to her. "Good morning, its pride month..... so happy pride I guess." Faith said unsure of what to say.
Cassia just smiled slightly. "Happy pride, baby. Do you want to go out tonight?" she asked messing with Faiths hair. "Sure, but we have to go somewhere near the beach," Faith said removing Cassias hand from her hair. Cassia sighs and then responds with a hesitant yes. "I promise I won't stare at any of the girls in bikinis," Faith said in a joking matter getting up from the bed. "Good." Cassia said not realizing she was joking. Faith just laughed as they got ready for the day.

They both drove down to the beach and walked along the shoreline, going to the live concert to celebrate the start of pride. They grabbed their pride flags and waved them around singing and dancing along to all the songs. Cassia flexing her hispanic abilities. Faith just watching sometimes joining her, on those crazy dances. Overall partying until the sun had set.

They left the stage area, heading towards the boardwalk where all the shops and restaurants where located. They went to thier favorite place right near the rocky shore with the rooftop area. They race to their favorite table closest to the edge where they had a perfect veiw of the shoreline and the stars.

Sitting at their table they ate their usual meals when the waiter had brought it. They laughed and talked, doing all the cliche things they always do. They held hands under the table, staring into each others eyes and smiling. "I love you Faith..." Cassia said to end the silence letting go of her hand. "I love you to Cassia," Faith said kissing her lips.

They pay the bill and leave back to the clifftop where they saw the fireworks that one night. They stood at that edge, Faith wrapped in Cassias arms. Cassia teacher toward a little case inside her pocket pulling it out and hiding it, moving away from Faith slowly. "Hey Faith, I have one last thing for you," she said looking Faith in the eye seriously.

Faith stood there nodding taking a deep breath. "Ever since the day we met, " Cassia started, "I've felt something special with you. You have always been the part of me that really made me whole. Faith Kogane your one of the best things that have ever happened to me, and I want to be with you forever. I want to be with you until the day we die, and maybe even after. I love you... so much so Faith...." Cassia stopped and took a breath. She got down on one knee and Faith started to tear up.

"Faith, will you marry me...?"
