it was a day of researching and planning for the gang, they were planning on attacking the white fang and had all agreed on a plan. sun and blake were gonna sneak their way into the meeting, Weiss and ruby was gonna get info on her father's companies dust shipments, Neptune and yang were gonna get info from a 'friend' of yang and y/n was gonna do his thing and save them when they're inevitably gonna need it 

ruby: so we all know our roles right 

blake: yea me and sun got it 

sun: I can't remember so I'm just gonna follow blake  

blake audibly sighs as y/n just chuckles a bit  

y/n: and ruby is gonna follow Weiss while she complains about not getting Neptune 

Weiss: HEY THAT'S NOT TRUE 

y/n: sure ice queen

y/n sits on the roof adjacent to the warehouse blake and sun are in

y/n: I never thought id wish for my friends to make a mistake during the mission but here we are 

y/n contemplates jumping down and just going in but decides against it. suddenly all lights turn off and blake and sun come running out, y/n understanding that's his queue jumps down decide them

y/n: went as planed I can see 

blake: very funny 

while they're talking the white fang  decided against just letting them run away and come rushing out the building 

y/n: that doesn't look that hard 

just as he gets done saying it a mech busts through the wall of the warehouse 

y/n: THEY HAVE A MECH, WHY DON'T WE HAVE A MECH 

blake: WE CAN'T AFFORD ONE 

y/n: fair point 

they decide on doing the smartest thing and run away with their tales between their legs

y/n: WE  SHOULD PROBABLY CALL THE OTHERS 

blake: GOOD IDEA 

as blake calls ruby the mech just keeps getting closer 

y/n: I'LL DISTRACT IT WHILE YOU GET THE OTHERS 

blake: WAIT DO YOU MEAN ALONE

y/n: THAT'S THE PLAN 

blake: ARE YOU INSANE 

y/n: A LITTLE 

blake: JUST PLEASE DONT GET HURT 

y/n:  I CAN'T PROMISE ANYTHING BUT ILL TRY 

y/n then stops while blake and sun keeps on running 

y/n: HEY BIG BOY OVER HERE 

y/n proceeds to shoot some fireballs at the mech to get its attention
