Chapter 11.
Zayn's POV
"Can we go up now?" Niall was sounding like a little kid begging Paul to let us go to our hotel room on the 17th floor.
"Niall. Can you just give me a moment?" He was checking in with the front desk and getting annoyed of our needyness.
We had just arrived in Manhattan, New York City about 30 minutes ago. None of the boys or I have annocoucned that we were coming here, so hopefully no fans will be on the look out for us while we're on the look out for Kendra.
Snap Snap. "Hello?" Harry had his fist in front of my face, snapping his fingers and waving them back and fourth.
"Oh, sorry, yeah?" I zoned back in to the conversation. I just haven't been able to get my mind off of her. I don't know how I'm so attracted to her but I just am.
"We're going up now!" Harry pointed to the elevator which was packed with our luggage, the rest of the lads and Paul.
"Right," I replied as I casually walked into the crowded elevator.
All was silent until Liam started to talk, "is that What Makes You Beautiful playing?"
I tried to focus more on the soft sound coming from the elevator, I could easily relate it to the kareoke version of WMYB.
"Yeah!" Louis' voice broke through my concentration.
"That was on my bucket-list! To have our music playing in an elevator!" Harry said with a laugh. Everyone joined in, Harry was so... just Harry sometimes.
Ding. The iron doors for the elevator opened and we all got out one by one, strolling our luggage as we got out of the small space. "I felt so closterphobic," Paul said as we were in the hall, I shook my head in agreement and so did the others.
"What room are we?"Niall asked as he ran down the hall with the hotel room key.
"173," Paul screamed back at him.
"We're on the 17th floor! How is this only the 173rd room?" I asked, confused.
"This hotel isn't about the amount of rooms, it's about how big the rooms are," He screamed back behind me.
"Oh!" Harry said.
"I found it!" Niall yelled to us, only a couple paces away. There was barely any doors down this hall, it was all pictures hung up on the walls and then a couple of doorways.
We all ran to him, besides Paul and dropped our luggage in the hall. We walked into the hotel room and gasped. "This is amazing," I said breath taken. I've been too hundreds of hotels but this one was amazing
It had a huge living room, full of white couches and chairs, with a gigantic television hung up on the wall across from the set up. The carpet was pure purple and there was about 6 doors leading off from the room into other ones. I ran into the one, farthest from the door and screamed to the boys, "this is my room!"
It had a huge window overlooking Manhattan, I could see everything from the ground clear as day, even the people. I could pick out their features even from being so high up.
"Woah," Louis let out a gasp as he walked into my room. I whipped around from the window and looked at him with amazement.
"It's so nice here!" I fell on the bed. I was beyond tired from the long plane ride here, so were the boys.
"You have such a good view!" Louis replied walking over to the window.
"Right?" I answered back, proud to say that this was my room for 3 days.
Louis let out a loud laugh. "What?" I asked him curiously.
"Look at this guy walking 2 poodles in a black dress!" He pointed down to one of bystanders on the street. I started to laugh to.
"What the fuck?" I asked in between laughs. I was skimming around the city when I saw one of Louis' favorite things, "Louis!" I screamed out.
"What?" He asked.
"There's a Starbucks right across the street!" All of the boys and I loved it there. It was perfect too, right outside the hotel.
"I'm in the mood for one right now!" Harry chimed in, eavesdropping on our conversation.
"Food?" Niall joined in, immediately coming a part of our conversation.
"Not food, coffee," I said back with a laugh.
"Woah your room is so big!" Liam walked in examining everything. It was though, I couldn't believe how nice it was here, "mines nothing like this with the view and all!"
I shook my head in agreement, I was the one who decided to come here, I had to get the best room.
"So are we going to Starbucks or not?" Louis said grabbing his phone out of his pocket, probably texting El.
"Yeah, let me just settle in a bit with my luggage," I replied emptying things onto the large bed.
"No, I'm not waiting for you!" He said heading towards the door. I let out a groan, for some reason I felt like I should go. I was in the mood for a coffee after that exhausting flight anyways.
"Okay, coming!" I called to him, the boys were already in the living room. I grabbed my phone and wallet and was all set to encounter New York City.
