Chapter 23

Zayn's POV

"This is my room!" I threw my hands up in excitement as I showed Kendra my hotel room. She was sleeping over, surprisingly enough her parents agreed to it.

"I love it," she walked over to the window, nodding in aprovement.

I couldn't take my eyes off of her, she was so beautiful. I softly shuffled over to her and wrapped my arms around her tiny waist, pulling her close to me.

"I can't believe I found you," I whispered, holding her tight.

She turned around and faced me, "I can't believe you're here.." She gently replied back in my ear. I felt her hot breath trickling on my cool skin.

"Zayn!" I heard Harry knocking at the closed door.

"Yeah?" I hollered back, keeping my eyes locked onto Kendra.

"We figured out how much money we raised!" He called.

"Excited?" I gripped Kendra's hand, taking her over to the door but she wouldn't budge. "What is it?" I asked.

"I don't want to know Zayn.." she breathed out and plopped on the bed. I scrambled next to her, placing my hand on her cold knee, trying to comfort her.

"Zayn, I can't do this anymore. I just- I don't know.." Her voice trailed off.

I took her face into my hands, "baby, you can do this. I'm going to be right here with you, the whole time. I promise you. You will make it through this, we'll make it through this, together," I felt a tear fall onto my finger as I soothed her, I didn't want to see her like this.

"What did Taylor mean by what he said today? That we won't last long?" She mumbled through her tears.

"Who knows. He seemed high, right? What does he know! All I know is, I love you and you love me, right? Now what could take that away from us? Nothing!" I kissed her forehead, I could feel her body relax a bit.

"Are you coming guys?" I heard Harry's voice mutter through the door again.

"Ready?" I nudged Kendra's shoulder.

"Yes.." she stumbled to stand up. I grabbed her and held her close. Nothing could take her away from me this time.
