Zayn's POV
"When do you go back to London?" Taylor and I were sitting on the couch of my hotel room, watching ESPN.
"3 days," I answered back, popping a piece of buttery popcorn into my mouth.
"What's going to happen with Kendra?" He asked, fidgeting with his fingers. I honestly didn't even know what was going to happen with us after I left for tour. I set up the fundraiser which will be held tomorrow at Central Park, I sent out tweets asking fans to come and put up signs. It would cost 25 dollars to get in per person, the boys were excited to perform.
"I'm not sure, she needs her surgery and then we'll go from there," I answered back. Why was he so interested in hers and mine relationship?
"What is sarcoma anyways?" He looked curious. Honestly, I barely knew what it was either.
"Let's look it up," I grabbed my laptop which was on the table next to us and logged on. I opened up a new tab and google searched what sarcoma was.
"Click that one," Taylor pointed to one of the results which seemed like the best choice. I clicked on it and a ton of information appeared.
After skimming through the facts I found a couple interesting, heart breaking things.
"It's deadly on the fourth stage and that's the one she has.." I let out a small yelp. Taylor patted my back, trying to comfort me but it didn't help.
"Surgery has a 50/50 chance of her surviving," he pointed to a sentence which clearly stated that.
My heart was falling apart, how can this be possible? I loved Kendra so much and she might not even survive this horrific cancer.
"Taylor," I said sharply, catching myself from crying. I slammed my laptop shut, I couldn't stand looking at that anymore.
"Yeah?" He answered softly.
"If I'm not here for her surgery, can you do me a huge favor?" I needed him to do this for me. What if I had to leave before she got her surgery taken care of? I needed her to be in the safe hands of someone that I trust.
"Of course, what is it?" He had curiosity in his low voice. It's weird, I always remembered him with a British accent and now he developed an American one from living here for 2 years.
"Make sure she's okay after her surgery and call me, tell me how it went. If I'm not there," I tried to be calm but I felt like bawling.
"Yeah, of course bud," he gave me a smile.
"Thank you," I breathed out, relieved a bit.
"Now lets take our attention away from Kendra and watch some football!" He turned up the volume. I didn't want to watch television anymore though, I wanted to hold Kendra in my arms and make sure she was safe.
