Bea x reader-(Its been awhile)

You knew Bea sense you were both little.  You both met at a karate dojo.  You two were really good friends but at the age of 8 you had to move to kanto.  You both were really upset that you could no longer talk to each other.  You took kept in contact for a month after you move but her family stop all contact.

Now years later you are back here in Galar to see her again.  You stood outside the station in Hammerlocke.  You heard that Bea became the fighting type gym leader in Stow-on-Slide.  You wonder if she remembers you after all this time?  You look over at your partner pokemon, Hitmonlee. 

"Come on Lee, let's go see an old friend of mine."  You said walking.  When you got over to Stow-on-Slide you were happy that it hasn't changed since you left.

"Heh, still as dusty as before.  I hope that still a good sign,"  You said, "Lee, let's check the gym to see if we can see Bea."

As you headed over to the gym you saw that there was a match was about to happen.  You smile enjoying that you could actually see Bea fight.  When you got inside you got a ticket and went to your seat.

You got there in good time because the fight was about to start when you sat down.  Bea was fighting someone name, Victor.  Bea put up a good fight but in the end lost the fight.  You were surprised by one thing, she doesn't smile that often anymore.  When you were both young her defalt face was her smiling.  Maybe she just like that during battling?

You got out of your seat and waited around for Bea to do her signing of her card.  When she came out she had the same neutral face as before as people swarm her for autographs.  You waited for the crowd to die down before you came up to her.

When the crowd died down you walk up to her saying, "Hey Bea it's been a long time."  She look at you with a confused look on her face, not really remembering you.

"It's good to see you-" She started to say.
"(y/n), I know I don't really look the same as before."  You said.  When she heard your name her face light up giving the smile you remember.

"(y/n), you're back!"  She yelled.  Some people hearing her yell start looking over to the two of you.

"Yeah I just got from Kanto and I thought you be the first person I see."  You said.  She looked over to see your Hitmonle her face lighting up even more.

"You use fighting types as well?"  She asked.
"Of course I do.  Did you forget we met at a dojo."  You said with a chuckle.

"W-what of course n-not,"  She stutter getting a bit red, "anyway we have to catch up."

"That would be great but I don't want to get in the way of your gym battles."  You said.

"What no that was the last one of the day.  So I'm free right now."  She said.

"Well if that the case then we can go get some food."  You said.

"That would be great!"  She yelled.  You two left to get some food and to catch up on each other.  The whole time you were with her she gave her old smile.

EXTRA:

When Bea got home she opens up her phone to see a bunch of news article on her.  She looks to see what the news article is and it's about her and (y/n).  What the title read said, 'Gym leader has a lover'.  The news article shows her smiling and blushing as she talks to you and when they went out to eat.

"Me and (y/n) lovers,"  Bea yelled her face completely bright red, "heh.  That sounds real nice."
