elena pov

i am ready to tell jer and alaric about maya i want to take it slow with revealing her i am about to call jer cause i know he's with alaric

"hello"i said

"hey elena are you ok what ups"he said

"your with alaric right"i asked

"yeah were both at home he's grading papers and i'm sketching"he said

"can you two come to my new house i'll text the address but only you two"i said

"ok will be there what time"he asked

"anytime i'll be home all day today"i said

"ok"he said

"see you later"i said and hung up then texted him the address

"you ready for this"bonnie asked

"i can't keep her hidden forever"i said

"ok"she said and i went and grabbed maya who was in her play pen playing with toys

"i have to do this for her"i said and we went in the living room and i watched her crawl and play she could walk but she prefered crawling half an hour later someone knocked on the door

"take her upstairs please i'll call when you can come down"i said she nodded grabbed maya and went upstairs i went to the door and opened it

"come in" said and they walked in and i went and sat on the couch

"so what did you want to see us for"alaric asked

"your my family you deserve the truth"i said and they nodded

"the truth why you really left"jer said

"yes it started two and a half years ago give or take"i said

"which original"alaric asked

"take a wild guess bonnie told me what happened when i left so i know you already know who it was"i said

"so you and kol what happened"jer said

"i went to a bar two years and 7 months ago because of the stress damon and stefan trying to control me caroline pretending not to like klaus and you in dever and alaric already sad because of jenna  so anyway i was at the bar i convinced them to give me a drink and said i left my id at home everyone knows i have a high tolerence but i drunk a lot that night i was wasted and i couldn't drive home kol showed up to that same bar he seen how wasted i was and guys were trying to help me when really they were gonna take advantage of me he made sure none of them hurt me and drove me to the lake house he understood why i got so drunk so he stayed there to make sure i was ok when i woke up he helped me get rid of my hangover then we became friends we talked we even went to bars together out of mystic falls of course but he helped me when i needed it and let me not be sad that i lost my aunt my birth mom and my birth dad a month later we started dating bonnie knew and she was happy that i was happy we dated for the next six months"i said

"are you sure he wasn't using you"alaric said

"how would he do that"i asked

"play on your emotions just use you for sex"jer said

"no he  didn't use me cause i didn't start sleeping with him until 4 months after we were dating two months after i left anyways he took me out me going out and being gone for two three days you get places quicker with vampire speed we were actually in love but then a week before i left i was starting to get sick i was throwing up when i was around y'all i tried to pretend i was ok but i wasn't then i found out i was pregnant"i said"BONNIE"i yelled and she and maya came downstairs

"you had a kid"alaric asked

"yes this is maya"i said and grabbed her from bonnie"she's an original hybrid"i said

"how"alaric asked

"not like klaus she's half human half vampire"i said

"what does that mean"jer asked

"she can survive longer with out blood with human food but she also will heal slower"i said

"so what happened when you left"alaric asked

"i moved to new orleans had bonnie do the blocking spell on us we met a witch davina and became really close she helped me through my pregnancy when i had maya i died but because of me being a doppelganger they thought fast and made me an original when i woke up i completed the transition i watched as the vampire terrified the witches so i scared them all the vampires are scared of the witches now because of me i proved my point by killing a few dozen vampires they know the rules and they also know if they break the rules they deal with me davina and bonnie i decided it was time for me to come home so i did and when we went to come talk to y'all davina came here and watched maya"i said

"it still leaves the question who are you protecting"jer asked

i walked to the window and looked out"i'm protecting the love of my life i learned somehing from the witches they lives are linked she may be an origina; but its because of kol she can die because she is part human so for her you have to rip out her heart he dies she dies but if she dies were in a coma for a year maybe two and i can't handle loosing either of them i shattered his heart when i left i shattered my own but i knew i had to find out about this pregnancy before i told anyone else"i said

"how did you get pregnant"alaric asked

"before isobel died she payed a witch to put a spell on me so when i was truly in love and they loved me i would be able to procreate she knew where my life was heading already"i said

"you have to tell him elena"jer said

"he'll try to talk to me within the week i'll talk to him"i said

"with in the week"jer said trying to get confirmation

"ok"he said i told them a little bit about maya and alaric had to leave

"jer you wanna babysit your neice tonight"i asked

"why"he asked confused

"i got to tell everyone else"i said

"sure"he said

"they left town"i said

"how do you know"she asked

"there in new orleans davina called me"i said

"ok"she said

"why would they leave"jer asked

"because i lived in new orleans there trying to find out what happened"i siad

"they have people down  their that hate them and some that were once family to them"bonnie said

i went and called the salvatores caroline matt tyler and told them that me and bonnie are coming to tell them the truth
