The house was enormous.

Jungkook comes from a middle-class family: his mom was a social worker and his dad was an elementary school teacher. Of course, they couldn't afford such an unneeded amount of space which Kim Taehyung's house consisted of but his childhood was rather pleasant as he got what he wanted and needed. When Jungkook lived with his ex-fiance who was as rich as they come, even their house wasn't as big as Kim Taehyung's. Back then, Jungkook felt like he belonged in riches and he basked in the luxuries given to him by his ex, but now he feels like a mere peasant, he didn't belong there.

Parked in front of the house was a red 2019 Rolls Royce Ghost, a black 2020 Bently Flying Spur, and a black 2020 Audi R8. There were two garages on either side of the large mansion and Jungkook wondered if there were more cars inside. There were landscapers and a group of builders building what looked like a small house — maybe a playhouse as it was pink and white.

Jungkook felt terribly inferior as he walked onto the porch of the mansion and rang the doorbell. He didn't belong here. Anxiety began to flare up as he realized what exactly he got himself into. He didn't belong here at all. But he needed this job more than he needed anything. Hell, his first check would allow him to leave his trashy apartment, pay his last rent and move into a better one. He could open up a college fund for his kids and possibly even take classes to get his GED.

The door opened revealing a tall, slender blonde woman wearing a red blazer with a white shirt underneath and a red pencil skirt along with red heels. She looked as though she were ready to sue anyone who breathed in her direction the wrong way. When she took in Jungkook's presence, she cringed as if someone slapped her across the face, asked if she shopped at Walmart, and called her middle-class.

"Who are you?" She asked, clutching her clipboard tightly. Jungkook wondered how she managed to keep her fake, long, red nails on without losing any and why she wore so much red.

"I'm here for the job..." Jungkook answered.

Her eyebrows perked up as she nodded. "Ah, right. Follow me."

The inside was much greater than the outside. When Jungkook stepped in, he was met with a long hallway with two chandeliers on both ends. He couldn't make out what was at the end of the hallway but he figured that was where the living room was. As they walked down the hallway, Jungkook noticed some expensive artwork decorating the walls. The only artwork he owned are his sons' pieces but he knew the art from his six and three-year-olds are priceless and more valuable than these boring splotches worth thousands.

Just as Jungkook expected, the hallway opened up to the living area. It was large but strangely clean and spotless as if no one lived there. The room was bright thanks to the sunlight pouring through and reflecting off the windows which made up 90% of the room. The whole area was somewhat minimalistic with a white couch in the middle and two yellow and white chairs on either end, a glass table separating them all. There was a huge, wireless, curved flat-screen TV on the wall adjacent to the doorway of the hallway and underneath the TV was a brown table with pictures and a PlayStation. Across the living room was the wall made of floor to ceiling windows and a set of French glass doors that lead the backyard. In the backyard was a huge pool with a yellow slide and diving board along with lounge chairs and a tiki hut at the far end of the pool with chairs in the pool. Jungkook couldn't see the whole backyard as the house the rest of the house blocked the view but he knew it went on past the parts of the house the blocked his view.

He and the woman walked through the living room and into another hallway. Her red heels made annoying click-clack sounds against the floor and it seemed as though she deliberately made them seem louder than they actually are.
