Yet another month passed without any word of Kang Minsun's incarceration. It greatly bothered Jungkook who tried to stop stressing about it, but he couldn't help it. It was simply unfair that this sick, psychopath of a man was still running around free after everything he put his own seven-year-old son through. Now Jungkook was painstakingly but also seemingly fruitlessly putting the pieces of his broken son back together.

It just angered Jungkook that the authorities haven't found this man yet and everyone seemed to stop talking about him. His ex-fans simple deleted their fan accounts, some may have made YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, or Instagram posts about him but those posts stopped showing up and everyone seemed to just forget. Of course, Minsun was still being searched for but things were just going by so painfully slow.

Taehyung had to make a statement that he had nothing to do with Minsun's supposed drug business which sparked up a buzz on the media but it quickly simmered down as people "knew" Taehyung's nature and they knew he wouldn't actively put himself in a scandal. However, antis did manage to crawl under Jungkook's skin as they started making up their own stories where Taehyung is involved with Minsun's "business" and he was behind the entire scene where Hanbin passed out in public so many months ago. It was honestly shameful and hilarious even how far people would go try and ruin someone else's image or career.

Taehyung had told Jungkook that he wasn't bothered by the conspiracies against him as he knew what was true and what wasn't. But it still bothered the younger man as he watched people pretend they know exactly what was happening and even going as far as to giving his child a whole different name and connecting a whole different story just to try and sink Taehyung's career.

Twitter was a cesspool of idiots and liars. So Jungkook simply deleted his account.

He didn't need all of that negativity especially now as more negativity seemed to creep back into his life after a while...

Right before Christmas, Jungkook had to take Hanbin out of school. It came to his attention around the beginning of December that older kids were picking on his selectively mute son. He hadn't found out the way most parents would want which is the school telling him as soon as they found out but instead, he found out when he was called by the receptionist who was rather frantically stating that Hanbin was having a panic attack. Jungkook had demanded they tell him what provoked him and when the principal said, "we believe it was just teasing that turned into something else", it dawned on Jungkook that his seven-year-old was, in fact, being bullied by kids who were much older than him.

One of the children had ratted the older kids out and after talking things through with Hanbin's teachers and the principal, Jungkook decided to take Hanbin out of the school as he has found out that the "teasing" had been going on for a while and the teachers had assumed they were just friends. To say Jungkook was pissed was an understatement.

So, Hanbin began homeschooling while Chanwoo continued going to daycare. At first, getting used to the homeschooling programs and just homeschooling, in general, was difficult for both Jungkook and Hanbin especially since Hanbin still refused to talk or interact with Jungkook in any way. But eventually, Jungkook got the hang of it and realized he just had to pay extra attention to what Hanbin was doing and insert himself when he assumed Hanbin was struggling. It was just another job added to his seemingly growing list of jobs but Jungkook wasn't complaining.

Because Hanbin was home all day, he became even more attached to his dog who he named Kkul which is "Honey" in Korean. At first, Taehyung didn't fancy the idea of the dog jumping around his house and getting his fur all over the furniture but he, of course, ended up caving in to the voice that told him that it wouldn't be so bad as long as Jungkook tried to keep Kkul off the furniture and out of the kitchen and away from any room upstairs.
