The worry, stress, and emotional and mental agony that greeted Jungkook the next morning were much heavier than it was the night before. It was as though the weight of the world had crashed down onto him and he could barely move; his limbs felt as though they were full of lead, his chest ached and made it harder to breathe, his head hurt so bad that it made him nauseous. Knowing Hanbin wasn't home where he should be, safe and sound but instead, God knows where with his deranged, abuse father made Jungkook's chest tighten and his stomach sank inward as he placed a hand over his mouth to muffle the sob. This was much more painful than any type of heartbreak. He had promised Hanbin that nothing would happen to him.

Jungkook knew he couldn't just lie around and mope. He couldn't just sit here and hope his son will come back to him. Plus, it wasn't just Hanbin he had to care for; he still had a three-year-old that expected Jungkook to care for him and try his best to keep him away from danger.

Jungkook placed his arm to his side, expecting to feel his other baby. He was met with bundled up blankets. He sat up in his bed, heart pounding against his chest as he remembered Chanwoo had fallen asleep beside him. Jungkook only got roughly two hours of sleep and Chanwoo had been curled up by his side the entire night.

Just then he heard the toilet in his personal bathroom flush and seconds later a stool being slid across the floor and then the sink turned on. Jungkook released a long sigh of relief as his panic quickly dissipated. He climbed out of bed and walked towards his bathroom, looking through the wide-open door and at his toddler who was putting way too much soap on his hands.

"That's enough, Chan," Jungkook said. Chanwoo gasped and knocked the soap bottle off the sink before whirling around to face Jungkook. A big smile spread across his squishy face.

"Hey, Daddy!" He greeted, "wook, I wash my hands."

"I see, good boy," Jungkook praised, helping the short tot reach the water better so it wouldn't hurt his arms. He used the towel to dry Chanwoo's hands before picking him up and carrying him back into his room. Jungkook sat down on his bed with Chanwoo in his lap. He pressed his face against the top of the toddler's head and closed his eyes. He couldn't imagine what he'd do if both of his boys were taken.

"Do you want to talk about what happened yesterday?" Jungkook asked, trying to keep his voice steady.

Chanwoo shook his head and turned to press his face against Jungkook's chest.

"Where's Ha'bin?" Chanwoo asked. Jungkook's heart broke a bit more since he couldn't give Chanwoo a definite answer.

"I'm not sure, bub," the raven-haired male finally answered, "but he'll be home soon, okay?"

He wasn't sure whether or not he was trying to reassure Chanwoo or himself.

"Just tell him you managed to convince me to talk farther about the partnership," Taehyung said to Seokjin who had been shamelessly flirting with one of the agents at his house.

Seokjin looked away from the officer who was going to listen in on their calls. The poor lad looked highly uncomfortable given the circumstances with some billionaire trying to get into his pants at eight in the morning.

"Stop it," Taehyung snapped as Seokjin sat down.

"Stop what?" The older man said.

"Jungkook's son has been kidnapped and the poor man is probably having a hard time with it, we have a chance to save the boy and all you care about is sticking your dick down some guy's throat?" Taehyung spat quietly so the man wouldn't hear them.
