C/n's POV

Y/n walks into the house with a bag.

More books.

"Really?" I ask

She looks at me.

"Nani?" She asks

"Did you really buy more books?" I ask

"No." She says

I squint at her and hold my hand out.

She hesitantly gives me the bag.

I look into it and see groceries.

But I check under it and see 2 books.

"Love!" I exclaim

"I'M SORRY. But they looked so good... pleeeeaaassseee?" She whined with a pout and puppy eyes.

I close my eyes and try to resist her adorable ness, but eventually couldn't and peeked at her to see her still pouting.

"Fine. But make sure to finish the other book first!" I say

Her eyes lit up and she pecks me on the cheek before thanking me and heading up the stairs.

I sigh then chuckle, the things I do for her.

*2 weeks later*

"FINISHED!" She exclaims as she puts one book into the bookshelf of many many books.

"The book before the 2 new ones?" I ask

"Yes!" She exclaims

"I'm proud of you babe." I say wrapping my arms around her waist.

"You should really read one of these instead of watching the movie. Try Maze Runner!" She exclaims

"I do like that movie." I say, thinking about it.

She goes to her books and finds the first book, she walks over to me and I reach for it. But she holds it away from me first.

"I have some rules." She says

I chuckle and nod.

"1) No skipping to the end. 2) Do not write in it. 3) Do not fold the pages. USE A BOOKMARK. 4) Do not spill anything on it. Understood?" She asks

"Understood." I say

She eyes me before putting her pinkie up.

I chuckle at her cuteness and link my pinkie with hers and lock it with our thumbs before we each kiss out fists.

She nods in satisfaction and hands me the book.

She goes to read one of her new books on the bay window we have and I sit across from her starting to read "The Maze Runner".

"He began his new life standing up, surrounded by cold darkness and stale, dusty air...."

*2 weeks later*

"They were the ones who'd rescued the Gladers. Just the day before."

WAIT.

IT ENDS

JUST LIKE THAT?!

"WAIT WHAT?!" I yell

"I'm guessing you finished it?" I hear Y/n ask

"THEY END IT JUST LIKE THAT?!" I exclaim, clutching the book.

"2nd one?" I ask timidly.

"Admit it first." She says

"Admit what?" I ask, knowing what she wants.

She raises her eyebrows.

"Fine... you don't have too many books... I like them." I say

She smiles widely and takes the book from me before heading upstairs and grabbing the 2nd one.

"The Scorch Trials." I say

"You'll like it." She smiles before kissing me softly.

"Love you." She says

"And I love you my little Book nerd." I smile

She giggles and continues to read her book as I start a new one.

Literally me.
I haven't even finished Maze Runner and I got Little Women... on top of that I still have to finish Chaos Walking ;-;
