Baking

3rd person POV.

You were in your kitchen, Ingredients for cupcakes laid out in front of you.

You always had a passion and love for baking and every time you made something, your family and friends always seems to enjoy it.

You pour the flour in just as 2 arms wrapped around your waist, making you jump and spill the flour onto the person behind you.

Your eyes widen and see C/n standing behind you.

"Sorry..." you say

He just stood there.

"C/n?" You ask

He takes a bit of flour and flicks it at you.

You frown.

"I said I was sorry." You pout

Suddenly he's guilty and hugging you.

"I'm sorry love." He says

You hug him back.

"Ok. Go change your shirt. It's covered in flour." You laugh softly

He laughs too and goes upstairs to change his shirt.

You take another scoop of flour and put it in the bowl, adding the salt, baking soda, cocoa powder and all the other ingredients you needed.

C/n finally came downstairs with a brand new shirt on and sat across from you as you baked.

You turned around for a split second and C/n dips his finger into the batter, putting it in his mouth.

IT WAS SHUCKING DELICIOUS.

You turned back around and see C/n with wide eyes.

"Good right?" You ask, knowing what he did.

He nods happily.

"Don't eat the batter love, the egg is already in there you could get salmonella." You say

He pouts.

"When they're baked you can have them ok?" You laughed

He nodded happily.

You laugh at your boyfriends adorable ness and leaned over to kiss his cheek.

You fill the tin with cupcake liners and slowly pour the batter in.

C/n looked mesmerized by what you were doing.

"You look so fascinated. You've seen me bake before love." You laugh

"Can I try?" He asks

"Sure. Be careful." You say

You put the bowl down as he stands up and takes it.

He starts pouring the batter into the liners and you're impressed that things were going well, seeing as he was quite clumsy every now and then.

Soon that one was filled and you had to fill the other one too.

He does that one, very few spills and one almost overflowed with batter because he was lost in thought for a minute and you had to clap so he came back to reality.

"Sorry." He laughs

You shook your head softly with a small smile on your face.

Soon they were done and you put them in the oven.

"Maybe I should learn to bake." He beams

"That was just the pouring. You need to learn how to make the batter and if you make cookies, mold them correctly, correct measurements-." You start listing off the many things that went into baking.

"Now you're making sound hard." He pouts

You giggle and kiss his nose.

He scrunches it up adorably and you kept giggling at how adorable your boyfriend can be.

"I can teach you if you want." You smiled

"If it means I get to spend time with you and have a delicious snack afterwards then yeah!" He exclaims

You and C/n talked for a while and next thing you knew the cupcakes were ready.

You put the oven mitts on and took them out carefully, making sure not to burn yourself.

You place them on the stove and wait for them to cool down.

You used the toothpick technique to see if they were fully baked and they were.

"Can we eat now?" C/n asks

"We have to frost them after they cool down. After that we can eat." You say

He nods in understanding.

After about 5 minutes they were cooled down and you started putting the frosting on.

C/n tried.

But when you both finished, yours looked pretty while his was a little messy.

"How are yours so pretty?!" He exclaims

"I dunno. Takes practice." You say

"I am determined to make mine prettier." He mumbles

"After practice yes." You say

He looks at you and glares

You look at him and kiss his nose again, knowing he loved it when you kissed his nose.

He scrunches it up again and then slowly smiles.

"I love when you do that." He says in a goofy voice

You laugh and do it again.

He's smiling all goofily and adorably.

"I love you." You say

"I love you too. And your baking." He smiles

You kiss him softly.

The ding from the oven makes you pull away.

"CUPCAKESSSS!" He yells
