3rd person POV

"I'll see you later mom!" You say

"Ok sweetie! Just be back before dinner, you're dad is making y/f/f." She smiles

You nod and grab your small backpack and helmet.

You strap the helmet onto your head and head outside to where your bike was.

You got on it and started pedaling off to the library about 8 minutes away from your house on your bike.

You have been going ever since you learned how to ride your bike at 5.

You always loved reading, and out of your entire friend group you read the most.

Reading was an escape from reality for you, you liked to go on adventures with the characters. When you're really into it you start reading words aloud sometimes, and you always finish a book even if you didn't like it in the end or halfway through. Sometimes you develop crushes on book characters like Newt from Maze runner.

(I DOOOO. I'm actually making a Newt imagines XD, just wait for that y'all if y'all wanna read it.)

You cry when your favorite characters are killed or when something bad happens.

In conclusion. You love reading.

You stopped in front of the big library and made sure the lock was secure so no one coulda steal your bike.

You walk into the library with your backpack and walk up to the librarian.

"Hi Meredith!" You smile

The 64 year old lady smiled at you.

She has been the librarian here since you can remember. Sometimes she'd bake cookies and give then to you, said you remind her of her grandchildren.

"Hello Y/n. New book?" She asks

You nod and open your backpack to return one of the books you borrowed.

You varied from time to time, sometimes you bought a book from a store or online, sometimes you liked to borrow them from the library.

"How was it?" She asks

You smiled, she loved hearing your opinion on books you've read.

"It was great! I might go out and get it later at the book store, it was awesome! Except for when that one character betrayed her friends in hopes for helping them in the long run." You say

Maze runner was one of your favorites, you had the first book. Now all that's left was the last book, Death Cure, then the 2 prequels.

"What do you have today?" She asks

"I'm trying to read Little Women right now. The movie came out on Christmas and it has Timothée Chalamet in it. I HAVE to watch it. But I wanna read the book first." You smile, holding up the book you just bought a few days ago.

"Ah, a classic. You'll enjoy it. And if you want, we have death cure here. Someone just returned it earlier today." She says

You nod happily and show her your library card to check out the book.

She checks it out for you and hands you the book.

"Happy reading dear." She smiles

You smile back and thank her.

You then walked to a small corner of the library , there were a bunch of beanbags and 2 small tables.

Not many people went there so that's why you liked it, no one to disturb or distract you.
