Every year, your high school would host a Valentine's Day dance.
And this was your 2nd year in high school, and you've always wanted to ask your crush C/n to the dance.
Even in middle school you had dances like these, but was too shy to ask C/n.
You watched as Carlos asked Seb to the dance and you smiled at the two.
"So. You going to the dance?" A random voice asked, making you jump and drop your book.
You look over to who was talking to you.
C/n.
You blush slightly and go to pick up the book, but C/b grabs it before you were able to and hands it to you.
You smile and thank him before shrugging.
"I dunno. I really wanna ask this guy, but I'm scared he's gonna say no." You say
C/n looks confused.
And disappointed?
"Whoever you ask and says no is making a huge mistake. Who wouldn't wanna go to the dance with you? Just go for it." He says
You always wished you were just a bit more confident.
And in that moment.
You had a spur of confidence.
"Will you go to the dance with me?" You blurt.
C/n is surprised.
But very happy right now.
"Y-yeah. O-ok." He stammers
You're blushing like a madman, but smile softly.
"C-can you u-uh... w-what color is your dress?" He asks
"R-red." You say
"I. *clears throat.* I'll find a red tie then." He smiles before thinking about something.
He quickly kisses you on the cheek and quickly walks away.
You touch your cheek where he just kissed you and you squeal.
Day of the dance.
You head downstairs and find C/n talking to your mom and dad.
"Home by 11. No hands, no drinking, drugs and nothing dangerous." Your dad says
"I'll take care of her sir." C/n says
You stand at the bottom of the staircase and they all turn to look at you.
C/n's jaw drops, your mom smiles and your dad also smiles.

"You look beautiful honey." Your mom says
"Thanks mom." You smile
She takes pictures before you and C/n head out.
(Forgot to mention. Y'all are both like 16.)
You get to the dance and see all your friends by the snack table.
You grab C/n's hand and drag him to the snack table with you, him laughing on the way.
"WOAH Y/N YOU LOOK FINEEEEE!" Lysa exclaims
"Thanks Lysa." You smile
"You dressed up nicely!" B/f/n exclaims
As you talked to your friends, you see C/n talking to c/b/f/n, b/f/n's date, and (*My crush's name that you'll never know) .
A slow song comes on and B/f/n drags C/b/f/n onto the dance floor, Allyssa drags (*MCNTYNK), and you and C/n stand there.
"Wanna dance?" C/n asks, holding his hand out.
You smile and place your hand in his.
You both walk into the dance floor and began to sway, your arms around his neck and his around your waist.
Lysa and (*MCNTYNK)spin by, smirking at you two.
"Kiss him." She mouths.
"YOU KISS (*MCNTYNK)." You mouth
She shakes her head.
But (*MCNTYNK)notices and smiles before kissing her head.
Lysa blushes like a madman and hides her face in his chest.
You giggle at the two.
"You know, they're cute." C/n says
"Not as cute as us." You mumble
"I heard that." He whispers
You blush.
"I really like you Y/n." He says
You look at him and smile.
"I really like you too C/n." You smile
"Wanna be my girlfriend?" He asks
You nod.
He cheers and you laugh.
Soon, he kisses you softly and you kiss back.
"WHOOP!!!!" You hear Lysa and B/f/n exclaim.
Soon B/f/n was also kissed by C/b/f/n and Lysa was kissed by (*MCNTYNK).
You slowly pull away from him and smile at your two friends.
"Happy Valentine's Day Y/n." He smiles
"Happy Valentine's Day C/n." You smile
