You sat on your bed, your boyfriend C/n on the phone.
You opened your laptop and scrolled through until you found what you were looking for.
A few minutes later you whispered "he is so hot oh my god."
C/n frowns and widens his eyes.
"What?" He says
"Oh, nothing bubs." You say
He shakes his head, thinking that maybe he was just thinking of things.
Then another 10 minutes passed and you say "I'd totally date him."
Ok, now C/' definitely heard something.
"Babe are you talking about someone?" He says
"Hmm?" You ask, eyes focused on the screen.
"You just said you'd totally date someone." He says with a sad tone with a hint of anger.
"What? I did?" You ask
"Yes you totally did! Babe, are you crushing on someone else?" He asks
He heard a sigh from your end of the phone and he immediately knew what was gonna happen.
"I'm crushing on multiple people actually...."you say
His heart dropped.
"But can you blame me?" You ask
"Honestly... I can't..." he says
Then he begins to ramble about why he's not good enough for you and shiz.
"Wait, bubs. Love!" You yell
He turns to the screen and stares at you.
"Do you think I'm crushing on an ACTUAL person?" You ask
"Well, yeah, I mean, you just said so." He sniffles
"Oh, bubba. No." You giggle
He raises an eyebrow and looks at you:
You take the phone and turn the camera around so it's facing your laptop.
There's a paused episode of My Hero Academia with Shoto Todoroki on screen.

"Did you forget I watched anime?" You giggled
Then it feels like C/n got hit by a truck.
He forgot you watched anime.
And that there were so many characters that you would simp for.
For example, Todoroki, Hawks, Kenma, Kageyama, Bakugo, Gray, Kuroo, basically everyone in Haikyuu, Denki so on so forth.
"Oh my god." He says
"Baka." You say in a teasing tone.
He pouts and you just giggled.
"I would totally date them if they were real. But they're not. But you're real, so I can date you." You smile
He chuckles.
"C/n, I love you ok? I may love them too and wish they were real, but they're not bubs. I love you ok?" You say
"Ok." He says
"The only competition you have for my heart are anime characters." You giggled

But I am so very sorry for disappearing from this book for a month.
With COVID-19, it's been hectic for all of us.
I've started my sophomore year and I'm doing virtual school so it's hard to get used to, school is a mess and stuff.
I'm so so so so sorry for going on an unannounced hiatus, I just couldn't find time to write and I've been trying to find inspiration to write.
