Rye's P.O.V
I knew proposing to Jack was a massive deal for my older brother, and he deserved to be so happy. But, we both knew it had to come out to our parents, who had told us all that they expected us to marry into royalty, and going against this meant we would let them down massively, and lead them to pushing us away completely. Which is why I realised how much more scared Brooklyn would be proposing.
"Rye. Rye, are you listening?" Andy said, waving his hand in front of my face to get my attention. Laughing when I jumped a little.
"Sorry, mi amor. What were you saying?" I asked, kissing his forehead.
"I asked you to see if Jon was done getting Aliana dressed, babe. What's on your mind?" He asked, putting a hand on my cheek. "You're thinking about Jack and Brook, aren't you?"
I nodded, hugging my husband. Kissing his blonde locks. He'd gotten it done again, the sides and top fully blonde now. I liked it. "I just... I know what it means for Brook to find someone he loves. You could see in his eyes; he felt so upset seeing us, because he wanted the same. And now that he found Jack, there's nothing that is going to stop him from loving the lad. But this whole idea of marriage into royalty and all that bullshit, it's getting in the way. Brook wants to be a good King when the time comes for him, but he knows that the only way he'll truly be happy, is by being happily married with Jack. Mama would never accept it, and I know Dad is going to go ballistic. He has such high hopes for Brooklyn."
"Well, we're going to the castle to see them anyway; it'll be good to let them know. Not telling them would be way more hurtful for your parents than Brook and Jack tying the knot. We'll just see how it goes. Don't worry so much, Rye. Everything is going to be okay," Andy smiled, reaching up to kiss my cheek, arms winding around my neck. We stayed in the same position for a while until Andy pulled back, nodding towards the door. "Go check on our daughter, Beaumont."
I chuckled and let him push me out the door, but not before I squeezed his ass lightly, making him gasp and blush as Jon walked in with Aliana right at that moment. "PG, boys. Little Miss Beaumont is right here, and I do not think she needs to be scarred at the age of one, okay? By the way, car's here in 20 minutes, so tell Brook and Jack."
"Do it yourself, Guelas! (Sorry, if you know, you freaking well know) I gotta get these two babies ready," Andy smirked, sticking his tongue out at me playfully.

At the Beaumont castle
I watched Brook and Jack talk quietly near the car, Jack holding Brook's face in his hands and wiping my brother's tears away with a kiss. They then joined us with sad smiles, Brook silently nodding towards Jack.
"You guys ready?" Andy asked, hugging the both of them. I would always admire how sweet he was with everyone.
"Yeah... let's do this," Brook said shakily, pulling Jack along with him into the castle. Mom and Dad appearing from the dining room to greet us all, and stopping when they saw their intertwined hands. They'd both known that Brook and Jack were a couple, just as boyfriends, but never anything else. Up until now. They'd come to accept that the two were a couple, but didn't like it. Just didn't really say anything.
"C-can we all talk? Please," Brook said softly and biting his lip. Dad nodded, he and Mom walking into the living room. Andy and I followed behind Jack and Brook, sitting together silently. I knew the two needed as much moral support.
"What's up, my darling?" Mom asked, looking expectantly at Brook. He sighed and placed Jack's hand on his lap, the ring fully showing. Our parents gasped, Dad keeping a straight face.
"What's this, Brooklyn?" He asked firmly, raising an eyebrow when Jack kissed his fiancé's temple. His frown grew, and Brook looked over at us before sighing heavily.
"Me and Jack... we're engaged. I proposed to him a few days ago. Before you decide to disown me, I want to say something. If you want me to be successful and happy as King when the time comes for me, the only way I will agree is if you accept our relationship. I love him so much, Dad, with everything I have," Brook whispered, his voice breaking. "And I know you guys will grow to love him in time, because I want you to. I know this isn't what is expected of us as royalty, and you want all your sons to marry royalty, but maybe we need to move with the times. This isn't the olden times anymore. I would love to become King, but I want to do it with Jack by my side. Please, think about it."
By the time he was finished, Brook was crying properly, Jack hugging him close. I bit my lip, feeling Andy squeeze my hand. Dad looked over at me, eyebrow raised.
"Ryan? Son, what do you think?" He asked me. Mom looked just as expectant for an answer, twisting her hands together.
"I think you should accept them. The only thing you guys want is for Brooklyn to be happy and a good King; he and Jack are perfect for each other, they help each other in so many ways. This isn't a conventional relationship, I know that, but it'll be worth it in the end. Trust me," I smiled, Andy nodding in agreement. "I mean, look at how much they love each other. At least he's found someone."
It seemed like an eternity, Mom and Dad talking in low voices together. It seemed like Mom was trying to convince him, and he turned back to Jack and Brook, nodding slowly.
"I'm happy for you guys, and cannot wait for the wedding. Jack, please treat my son well. I trust you."
"I'll protect him with my life, Your Majesty. Thank you for accepting our relationship," Jack nodded, tipping Brook's face up to kiss him softly.
A/N Happy New Year!! 2019 was freaking insane, and I'm beyond excited for 2020. I didn't really know how to end this haha. Also, I know these last couple of chapters have been very Jacklyn-orientated, but back to Randy now😂 I also intended to finish this before the end of 2019, but things never really go to plan :) Anyway, thanks for reading and I love you all xx
