Camila's Hope

Once upon a time, there was this sweet little girl. Her name was Camila. She was a very happy child. She had a beautiful family. Her mother was a teacher and her father was a mechanic. She thought life is a happy place. She had no sibling but she had many friends. She lived in a small city in the South. She thought when she grows up, she will find a man who will love her like his father loved her mother.

But that's the thing about life. Life has a funny way to show you how wrong you were. One day, her father started coming home late. Her mother started crying a lot of the time. Her neighbors started gossiping about her family.

Every time she asked her father why he came home late, he would say, he was busy. Every time she asked her mother why she cried, she would say that she's just not feeling well. Until one day her father stopped coming home. Then her mother got sick. Really sick. They say heartbreak kills people. Maybe it's true. And then she died. Leaving little Camila all by herself.

Her nice uncle took her to his place. He lived far far away from her hometown. Her uncle's family loved her. But she has changed. Life changed her. She is no longer that sweet, naive little girl.

She appreciated what her uncle did. But she knew he had enough on his plate. So when she finished high school, she found an art scholarship program. She loved art. She wasn't good at expressing her feelings so she did it by art.

Then she fell in love. She moved into her boyfriend's place. She was happy. Maybe life wasn't so mean after all. Until one day she found out that he was a mob. She was beaten badly. She ran away. She changed her identity. But there was a secret that she carried with her.

When she had no more trust in love, she met this guy. Blake "Scorpion" Smith. He was a dangerous, beautiful, gorgeous man that you should avoid. Can she avoid him?

This is the story of Camila and Blake. This is the sequel of Just me and my baby but you can read it alone.
