I regretted it as soon as I said it. What's happening to me? I'm letting this stranger willingly touch me and even enjoyed it. I had reached out to him when that boy knocked on the door for comfort when all I could see was that haunting metal door. To top it all off I spoke about Him out loud, when I had sworn to myself that when I was free that place would cease to exist. That I would erase it from my memory, but I was no use. I clamp my mouth shut, refusing to let myself get into more trouble than I'm already in and I don't know how much more my body could take if he decided to inflict his obvious wrath on me.

He stood up abruptly, his chair flew across the room behind him. I shrunk back into the bed and watched him carefully, there was no telling the damage a body of his size could do to me. His hands curled into fists at his sides and his chest heaved with a sudden intake of breath, "Who?" He asks in a gruff more bass register that startled me.

I could only stare at him for a minute before looking down at my hands to stop myself from giving in to his pleading eyes and speak of more of it. He let out an angry, exaggerated sigh and wrenched open the heavy wooden door before storming out of the room, leaving the door slightly ajar.

IThe presence in my head whined lowly in my head almost sounding like a howl. It only took a moment before the thought, 'What if he's getting the Sargent?'  rang through my mind like an air raid siren. Shooting panic through every inch of my body so violent tears prinked at my eyes.

I leapt off the bed and slipped out of the crack of the door, closing it behind me to not raise suspicion. The sound of my bare feet echoed throughout the hallway, I tried to lighten my steps the best I could but it didn't seem to matter. The monsters in lab coats and matching uniforms swarmed the so-called hospital hovering around me with furrowed brows and varying expressions of shock and excitement.

I picked up the pace from a brisk walk into a run, my muscles ached and my chest and shoulder screamed as I swung my bent arms beside me for momentum. Some of the onlookers knelt down as I passed while others raced after me with arms outstretched and warning on their tongues. I was glad I was able to convince Alexander to take me outside before, now I knew exactly how to get out of this place

The clear doors opened on there own by some miracle. People were yelling 'Luna,'  and 'stop' as I raced across the open clearing. I made it to the tree line before making the mistake of glancing back over my shoulder, not seeing a gigantic mass of fur as it slammed into me. I yelped in surprise and watched as the world spun around me. The browning earth and dark moss blurred into the earlier evening blue sky. The culprit in question had clamped down onto the back of the paper-thin dress I and had maneuvered me unto its underbelly before we crashed against the forest floor.

The air was knocked out of my lungs and into the frigid air sending a cloud of smoke billowing around me. I coughed and sputtered trying to wiggle out of the mountain of fur and limbs I engulfing me. After a few seconds of wriggling, I was able to slide down from its massive stomach and land on the ground with a thump and a surprised yelp at the unexpected amount of distance between it and the ground.

A low whine came from beside me making me turn my head to see a gigantic wolf with silky black fur sitting on his it's hin legs positioned next to me. It's strangely familiar emerald eyes wracked over my body like the prey that I am. The presence in my head whispering "beautiful," as I gapped up at the creature before I gained the good sense to prepare to heave myself up and sprint in the opposite direction.

My eyes darted west as I slowly repositioned myself into my knees ready to sprint. Only to froze when a thunderous growl boomed from the wolf gnashing teeth. I turned my head back to see its pointed teeth barred and its hanches raised in a prowl, preparing to tackle me at any moment.
