Today's VOTD isn't a specific verse like yesterday but more a passage or chapter. The chapter I studied today was 2 Kings 12. And you can read it at your own time. But I'm going to give you some of the key points that stuck out to me. So if you wanna grab your Bible and follow along that's cool too .
Verse 2 immediately stood out to me where it said ; " what was right in the sight of the Lord. "
It is a great mercy to young people especially to young men - Like Jehoash- to have about them who will INSTRUCT them to do what is RIGHT in the sight of the Lord. And they do wisely and well for themselves when they are WILLING to be counseled and ruled. We all need to seek WISDOM and COUNSEL in everything which we do . We just have to be WILLING to listen and seek that counseling .
Verse 11 to 16 :
God requires those who have POWER to USE it for the SUPPORT of religion and RECTIFY injustice and REPAIR of decays. We all have the power in one way or another. Social media to name one. You may not have millions of followers but you can use the hand full of people you HAVE to get the word out there ! God can use us anywhere and those who are willing to listen , will be blessed. When public distributions are made FAITHFULLY , public contributions will be made CHEERFULLY.
Verse 17 to 21 :
If we know any thing of Christ as the FOUNDATION of our faith and hope , let us DESIRE to know nothing BUT Christ.
I don't have a specific theme or message here today but I think EVERY point I read today was important. So I hope you were blessed today and that you atleast took something out of this today.
