Being God's light

He knows my name

I say this a lot but it's true , in today's society we are all labled , we are , there's no two ways about it . It can be a negative or a positive thing . You can be called a cheerleader, science geek ,genius , goth , hipster , miss popular,  what ever it may be . But then you get the lables people put on you , non status related ; loser , weirdo , freak , loner, and all that .

It hurts , a lot , I know . And then it takes it's toll on you.  You start to believe it or feel like what ever you're labled.  There are days where it'll hurt so much that you'd wish you were miss popular or that cute cheerleader just to be known or even noticed . You just want someone to know your name , cause it gets lonely .

But you know what, there is someone who knows your name , God .

Now , I'm not trying to be cliché or anything but it's true . The One that created you , formed you in your mother's womb , knows your name and he loves you just the way you are !

You don't have to pretend to  be someone you're  not to fit into this messed up world , for this world will one day fade to dust . (Ecclesiastes 1:14)

And why would you change if you're exactly who God made you to be ?

You think Failure  , God says success maker .

You think  loser , God says chosen child of the Lord.

You think loner , God says loved in    my eyes .

You think weirdo , God says perfectly crafted together for a purpose. 

And the  list goes on .

God doesn't see your outer appearance,  he sees your heart . He doesn't care what other people label you as , His opinion on you is more important. 

So , if you're going through a season of loneliness , rejection , depression , know this ; you don't need your name in light's,  you're famous in your Father's eyes , you ARE LOVED .

Don't let this world and the temporary people on it bring you down,  don't let them dim your light . God loves you SO much and that's all that really matters .

I found this song by chance a week back and it really spoke to me it's,  He knows my name from Francesca Battistelli , it's really beautiful and inspired me to address  this labeling issues in our society .

I hope this helped and encouraged someone like it did for me , my messages are always open to anyone who wants to talk . I may not have a lot of life experiences yet , but I can relate to everything I have written here . Lots of Love to you ❤❤❤
