Blazewhisker's POV:

After Grayheart and Liontail came back from their chat, we started traveling again. Grayheart seemed to be in deep conversation with Moonwhisper back there. But I'm not going to eavesdrop on them. Eavesdropping is bad and it doesn't resolve any problems.

Then a mew had faded my thoughts, "Blazewhisker!"

Then I turned to Honeysap while my pads still hurt but didn't dare speak about it. I don't want to stop this journey over a lame excuse. "Yes?"

"Oh, phew! You're awake! I called your name about five times already!" Honeysap sounded relieved.

"Sorry. It's just that I had something in mind, that's all." I apologized.

"Really? Okay," She mewed as we kept heading forward.

"I think we must be getting close! I can feel it in my paws," My father mewed excitedly.

We are! As we neared the base of the mountains, we heard a strange mew. "Liontail, is that you?"

Then my father's eyes lit up. "Dawn Wing? It's so great to see you again! How's Eagle Fur?"

"He's doing great. I think he's turning into a bit of a grump everyday without any of our daughters beside him. But, he's still well enough." Dawn Wing answered.

"Liontail, who is this cat?" I asked him.

"This is Dawn Wing. The mother of Jaymoon." Liontail answered me. Then he turned to Dawn Wing. "Dawn Wing, these two," He flicked his tail over to me and Grayheart. "are my sons. Their names are Blazewhisker and Grayheart."

"Sons?! Jaymoon had kits?! So delightful!" Dawn Wing mewed in pride.

"And these two are some friends we met: Honeysap and Moonwhisper." He mewed as he flicked his tail to where Honeysap and Moonwhisper were standing in confusion.

"Greetings," Dawn Wing greeted us. "By the way, what did happen to Jaymoon?"
