"Chaeyoung, Have you finished the bouquet for the order already?" My boss Kim Namjoon asked.
Namjoon wasn't much older than I was but was definitely more mature than people even Yoongi's age. The florist loved to color his hair and I wondered how long the purple color would last. Namjoon was in his element at this place and I understood why he worked there.
He always had a warm smile on and was his own personal sun. When working with me on many occasions I could hear him softly talking to the flowers, especially the bonsai trees. He had the deepest dimples and he was a little clumsy, always hurting himself but he was always smiling no matter what.
"Yes! I made five sets." I answered.
"What? Chae there's supposed to be six." He came out from the back.
"What?! I'll made the last right now." I stopped cleaning the store front and quickly made the last set. I only worked two days of the seven since I was a part time employee. It was on a street corner and compared to the dull buildings around it was yellow, pink and had purple as well.
"Aren't you going to count? I'd like to see your parents face with your work." He scoffed.
Though Namjoon had a bright personality he did get on me for being a diligent worker. He wanted nothing more than to have everything in perfect order.
"Sorry Namjoon-ssi." I mumbled.
'I couldn't ever let them come here' I shook my head.
The truth about the flower shop was that it was funded by the Min Corp. I only found out after I was employed. So to hide the fact that I was a Min I worked there under my previous name. Why? Because I didn't want special treatment that came with being a Min.
If Namjoon knew the truth I didn't know if he would be like others when they learned who I was. A kiss ass.
"There's a customer. Go see what they want." Namjoon said hearing the bell on the front door jingle.
"Yes." I nodded. Though sometimes I wished people knew who I was.
Entering the front of the shop I saw a young man looking at potted plants. From the back he seemed familiar.
"Welcome to Koyas Flowers. What are you-eh?" I asked when they turned.
"Hm?" We both had the same shocked expression at seeing each other. It was Jungkook.
"Kook?"
"What what are you doing here noona?" Jungkook asked with a little stutter.
"What's wrong? Did something happen?" Namjoon asked standing at the back room door after hearing me stop mid greeting.
"No nothing Namjoon." I turned and shook my head. To avoid his eyes I pulled Jungkook to the other end of the store that wasn't visible even to my tall boss.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I asked you first." He crossed his arms with a little smirk, "Working here?"
"I am." I nodded, there was no reason to keep it from him. It wasn't like I was to begin with, he just never asked.
"This is one of the Min Corp chain businesses right?" He asked looking around the room with just his eyes. I silently nodded.
"So your dad let you kill time by working here?" He asked.
"N-no it's not like that." I shook my head. "Namjoon doesn't even know I'm a Min."
"I see." Jungkook nodded with an innocent smile. I didn't trust it one bit, Jungkook was always up to something. I was going to turn away when he knocked over a bucket of arranged flowers on the floor with his foot.
