Step Brother Min Yoongi

Chapter 18

We were waiting outside of the room of the hospital appa was brought into, waiting for the news. We didn't know when it would come.

"I thought he was getting better little by little." Yoongi whispered.

"I did too."

"But now he's in ICU. He's here because I did something like that." Yoongi said running his hand through his hair making it messy.

"Oppa." I murmured hating that he was blaming himself for appa being here. He had been blaming himself from the car ride to now. Blaming himself not for kissing me in the garden but for being with me at all.

"Yoongi." I looked up to see Krystal walking over with a serious face.

"Oppa, Krystal is here." I said. Yoongi looked up and stood.

"I'm going to step out for a bit." He said. He left with Krystal. While I watched them round the corner Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung did the same. They all watched Yoongi and Krystal for a moment before looking at me.

Jimin rushed over and gave me a tight hug. Taehyung and Jungkook didn't wait for him to let me go before adding to the hug I so desperately needed it right now.

"Jungkook was with us when we got a call from that butler." Taehyung said.

"Thanks for coming but you didn't have to."

"We did." Jimin said as they finally pulled away from me.

"That means a lot that you guys came."

"Was that woman his fiancee?" Jungkook asked me suddenly.

"Hm?"

"Does she have an illness or something?" He asked me.

"Kook." Taehyung pinched his bicep making Jungkook yelp.

"Illness?"

"She was talking seriously with a doctor." He said.

'Probably about the infertility treatments' I thought.

"She's seriously beautiful. Ah I I mean in general." Jungkook quickly said making the other two boys shake their heads. "I like you a lot more."

'Wait why would she be talking to a doctor about her treatment when she said she was already better?'

"Ya are you even listening?" Jungkook asked me.

"Kook take it easy. We're here for her." Jimin jab him in the ribs.

"Sorry noona." Jungkook said realizing how insensitive he sounded.

"It's okay Jungkook." I shook my head. The couple left after a while but made me swear to update them or even call if I needed anything. Yoongi and Krystal had finally came back after they had left.

"Chaeyoung about earlier." Krystal started.

"Sorry about no responding-"

"No don't be. There are more serious matters at hand. Oh sorry you are?" Krystal asked noticing Jungkook sitting in the chair next to me. I caught a look at Yoongi who was looking rather discouraged.

"Ah um he's." I rambled unable to think about a response, not with Yoongi there. Introducing him as my current boyfriend in front of him was not what I wanted.

"Hi, I'm Jeon Jungkook." Jungkook stood and bowed politely, "I'm Chaeyoungs boyfriend."

"Boyfriend. How lovely." Krystal said with her special tone she had for me. I looked at Yoongi who was clenching his jaw at Jungkook's answer.
