It was noon and appa had called me to his bedroom. I knocked and let him know I was entering before doing so. It always saddened me to see the man I was so accustomed to being strong look so weak now. He was resting in his bed, his face letting everyone know he'd rather be doing something productive than be laying around all day.
"How are you today?" I asked taking a seat next to his bed.
"Just fine buttercup." He held my hand. 'Buttercup' I smiled to myself. It was his own special nickname for me because my love for the flower. He created the love for it, every time we met before the marriage he would bring me a Persian Buttercup. Even now I still find them on the table outside my door.
"In another week I should be able to do a half set."
"It's a little early in recovery to go golfing don't you think?" I asked worried he would only end up right back in bed. "But I'm glad to hear you're better enough to make jokes appa."
"Then don't you worry about what's going on." He patted my hand with his second.
"But-"
"Chaeyoung do you think you could run an errand for me? It's very important."
"An errand?" I asked. He nodded and handed over a sheet from his memo pad.
"All you need to do is buy what is written." He gave me a smile. I looked at the sheet again and so the address of where I could find Genuine aloes wood.
"Genuine aloes wood? Is that a type of incense?" I asked.
"Yes. I can't entrust this errand to anyone else." He nodded.
"I see but I don't remember ever hearing of it." I frowned.
"Don't you worry one bit." He winked. I knew I wasn't going to get any more out of him so I nodded.
"I'll be back soon then." I got up and kissed his cheek before leaving the house.

I had finally reached the location and saw it wasn't just a regular shop but a shop specializing in incense. The place was old and from the shop windows I could see the misty smoke curling in the air of the scented sticks.
'This place is ancient' I thought walking into the shop. Inside I was engulfed by heavenly scents and I already didn't want to leave.
"Welcome." The female employee greeted me.
"Hi. I'm looking for aloes wood." I said greeting her with a small bow.
"You can find them over in the far back corner." She pointed her finger to the section.
"Ah thank you." I said bowing my head again before heading over to the section.
Entering it I was enveloped yet again by more nose tickling aromas. The shelves were full of them and each were all neatly labeled.
"So many varieties." I murmured scanning each shelf for the one I needed but I was distracted. Distracted by the price. Some were priced nearly a million won.
"What?" I let out in a surprised voice seeing the pricing.
"Is everything alright?" The woman asked coming to my aide.
"No not at all. You've got so much options it took me by surprise." I nervously chuckled. I didn't bring that much money with me, I didn't think it would be so expensive.
"It's a common reaction. Have you decided on the type of aloes wood?" She asked.
"I was asked to get genuine." I said looking back at the shelves.
