For lunch I was accompanying appa. I carried my own tableware to the dining room where Yoongi was eating leisurely.
"Oh oppa you're home." I said surprised since he was supposed to be at the office.
"Can't I be here?" He asked.
"No I just I just meant it's rare or you to be home at this time." I explained my surprise.
"I had a break today so I decided to eat here." He shrugged.
"A break? This is the first one since you've been back right?" I asked setting down what I carried.
"Well not really. We did visit the graveyard and went to see halmoni." He said.
"Oh, right." I nodded.
"But this is the first time I had a break with nothing in particular to do." He said with a hint of a smile.
"So even with a break, are you not going to do anything?" I asked sitting across him at the rectangular table.
"Don't treat me like a person with a lot of free time. I know how to spend a break." He said with making his lips into a straight line. ( you know yoongi's :] smile)
"How to spend a break?" I asked. Sometimes Yoongi spoke like an old man. I know he doesn't know what to do with a break because he never really had the time to have one.
"Now what should I do." He murmured.
I watched in silent amusement as he racked his brain for something to do. Little by little I saw his frustration growing because everything he thought of wasn't working in his head.
"You have no idea what to do." I finally said with a small smile.
"Shut up I'm thinking." He scowled.
"What about a movie?"
"I thought so too but there's no movie that I want to see." He said shooting down my first suggestion.
"Why not do sports or outside activities?" I suggested next. He had a love for basketball and I thought he would want to play a little with his friend Hoseok.
"It's my long awaited and long needed break. Why would I tire myself out?" He asked.
"Point taken. Stroll through the park?"
"I'm not an old man." He scoffed, "I'm not wasting my time on something like that."
"What about hanging out with Hoseok? I haven't even heard you talk about him since you got back." I said.
"Hoseok's been just as busy as I have." Yoongi shook his head.
"Jeez! You're still the same as before." I muttered, "You always dismiss my suggestions."
"That's because there no good. If this were a job you wouldn't be called back to the next meeting." He scoffed.
"It's not my fault you're indecisive for anything besides work."
"Me? I'm indecisive?" He narrowed his eyes at me as we argued.
"I see the brother sister pair are getting along well." My mother said entering the room.
"E-Eomma." I stammered. Yoongi just clicked his tongue seeing her.
"What happened?" My mother asked.
"Nothing that concerns you." Yoongi rolled his eyes and returned to his meal.
"Oppa says he doesn't know how to spend his day off." I said.
