"Long time no see, losers." The beauty smiled.

Phoebe was the only one to speak up. "Welcome back, Helga."

"HELGA!" The group yelled in unison.

"Not so loud, I'm right here." Helga plugged one of her ears with her perfectly manicured finger.

"I can't believe it, you look...AMAZING!" Rhonda jumped out the booth to give her a once over.

Helga was wearing knee-high black boots. Black high-rise shorts with buttons on both sides. Her V-neck shirt was skintight and white. She was wearing a black leather jacket that fell to her waist and had 3/4 length selves. Her make-up was a smokey eye with tinted lip balm. Her hair was long, curled, and draped over the right shoulder. Lastly was the red velvet clutch she was carrying. She looked stunning.

The girls couldn't help but surround her and coo over every detail. It was like a whole new Helga was standing in front of all of her friends. Which, essentially, she was a new and improved version of herself.

The boys looked on like they were looking at a stranger. Listening to the girls talk about what Helga was wearing or doing with her hair was enough to sound like a different language to them. They just left them at it until they could say their hellos.

Arnold looked on and almost didn't recognize the girl that he once dated. The summer had done wonders for her. He always knew that she wanted to step out of her childish ways, and she had done it. At the beginning of summer, Arnold claimed it was time for him to change. Looking at Helga, proved to him that he had done nothing. Their lives had grown so vastly apart, he worried that it wouldn't be any point to try.

"Helga, where's your bow?" Sheena asked drowning out all the noise.

Arnold looked to see that Sheena was right, Helga didn't have her bow on at all. Not even on her wrist. It was like the last nail in the coffin. Helga was over Arnold and had moved on. His heart broke in two.

"Yeah, I felt it was time. This summer in New York had really opened my eyes. I've learned to love myself and that's what's important." Helga fixed her hair.

"I'm so jealous. I wish I could have gone shopping in New York." Rhonda whined.

"Maybe next summer, we could all go for a short time and shop." Helga offered.

The girls all started to get excited for the future endeavors. Helga took the moment to look around. Smiling at the boys, she made eye contact with Arnold. He looked like the summer had changed him. When the summer started, they were the same height. Now it looks like he had a growth spurt. Growing into a man's body and out of a child one. It didn't help Helga's resolve.

The whole summer she spent her time trying to get over him. Even when her dreams wouldn't allow her too. Now that she was home, she looked at the man who broke her heart. All she wanted to do was run into his arms, kiss him passionately, and confess her love to him. In front of everyone. She couldn't do that. He looked at her like nothing has changed for him. He saw her and nothing played across his face like she hoped it would. It was really over.

"My, my, my. How's it possible to have gotten more beautiful than I saw you months ago?" Chad approached to serve more drinks.

Helga looked and remembered him. "Hello, how has your summer been?"

"Boring. I was waiting for this gorgeous girl to call but she never did. I didn't learn until today she went off to New York on a whim." Chad flirted.

"So, now that I'm back, your summer's better?" Helga flirted back.

"Much." Chad leaned in and smiled.

Arnold didn't like their interactions.

"I'm glad. I'd hate if you had such a bad summer because of me." Helga smiled.
