Chapter 36- the end of it all part 1

I watched as they etched closer knife in hand ready to pierce out my heart as dread fills my body, the feeling of hope long gone as I think back as how things went so wrong...

20 hours earlier...
It was my wedding day, today would be the day I married the love of my life! Yeah I know that's cheesy af but honestly I don't care and I can't wait to become Mrs Wayne!

I was in the bridal suite with my bridesmaids steph, Irey, Barbara, cass and mom(Lois).

I began to pace around the room "what if he doesn't want to marry me anymore? What if he finds someone better? He's gonna leave me isn't he? He's gonna leave me for a ex stripper and they gonna live happily ever after and have like 2 kids and ones gonna be named after me his first love that he left!" I continued to blabber about all the possibilities until Irey slapped me across the face, obviously it didn't hurt but it caught my attention.

"Damian loves you! And isn't gonna leave you for some ex stripper where they'll live happily ever after and whatever other bullshit you just said so pull your crap together! You're gonna get married to the love of your life with zero doubts and your gonna enjoy the best day of your life or so help me I'll...." irey yells as I nodded. "Yeah you're right, this is the best day of my life, ok I can do this, I can do this" I yell mostly myself.

"Great, lets start the ceremony before she chickens out again" irey mutters.

I stood there at the doors nervously waiting to go in and get this over with so I could call him my beloved. "How are you feeling?" Dad asks appearing besides me.

"Like I wanna throw up" I admitted
"You'll do fine love" Lois says appearing besides my dad. "Thanks mom" I smile at her.

The wedding March begins as I get ready to walk down the isle. My dad offers his arm as I grab onto it tightly "sweetheart I love you and I know your nervous but ease up on the grip yeah" I loosen my grip slightly "oops sorry" I mumble looking at small tears in his suit jacket.

The doors open as I walk down the aisle my eyes never leaving his watching him smile, whilst looking hot and handsome in his suit.
I send him a smile back as my dad hands me to Damian, leaving to take his seat after kissing my cheek.

"We are gathered here today to witness the union of two lovers, Although I may not know them all to well, I can assume they are special, because of all of you here today to witness and celebrate their special day" the priest began.

"Do you Damian al Ghul Wayne take Kiara Elizabeth Kent to be your lawfully wedded wife to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health till death do you part?" Damian smiles still looking into my eyes "I do" the priest turns to me "and do you Kiara Elizabeth Kent take Damian al ghul wayne is to be your lawfully wedded husband to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health till death do you part?" "I do"

"May we have the rings" we place the rings on our fingers, the smiles and tears not leaving our faces. "I now pronounce you husband and wife you may kiss the-" a laser flew right through us and obliterated the priest.

The doors slam open and an army of people in black suits barge in with loaded guns. "Nazi's"
"I hate nazi's"

Everyone non super evacuated as a stare off was going on between them and us.
"Why are you here?" My dad asks. They don't answer but they shoot him with kryptonite and he goes down. "Dad!" I run over to him.

"She's immune to it" one of the masked soldiers whispers to the other. "We are here for the half breed, hand her over and we shall leave"

"Over my dead body" Damian growls and steps in front of me pulling out his katana alongside everyone else. "Seriously! You brought that to our wedding!" I exclaim as we all begin to fight. Punching, shooting, maiming anyone and everyone. Nobody died though yet...

I let out a thunderclap making the other supposedly kryptonian fall to the ground. They then begin to retreat. Damian walks up to me "are you ok?" I nod as we share a quick kiss.

Back at star labs we're all surrounding a table listening to uncle Barry explain about earth x.
