Chapter 42

Jason was holding his beloved 2 year old niece in his lap whilst dick was on his knees alongside his daughter who had a determined look on her face.

"Ok Lizzie" dick began taking a hold of the toddlers tiny hands in his large ones. "What I'm about to tell you is an important life lesson okay?" He said as she nodded not really understanding.

Mari stepped forward and looked at her cousin "Lizzie this important" the now 6 year old said.

"I can't believe your actually doing this, and that you've roped sweet Mari into it too" Jason groaned.

"Jay it's important to teach this at a young age!" Dick defended himself while his brother just gave him a really? Look.

"Ok, now listen carefully" he turned back to his niece. "Ohana means family" he said it nice and slow hoping the young girl understood.

"Ohana is family and family is special" he tried to explain. As Lizzie tilted her head to the side babbling a bit.

Dick nodded "yes even crazy people can be family" Jason looked at him with a knowing look "yes, VERY crazy people are your family" Jason added.

"Ohana is life Lizzie stitch said so" Mari added excitedly.

"What is going on here?" Kiara and Damian walk into the manor back from their day out together alone for the first time in almost a year.

The 2 adults, well more like 1 kinda adult and 1 man child turned toward the young parents. "Uh..."

Babbling Lizzie said "Ohnana" causing Damian to sigh irritated and Kiara to groan "seriously dick?" She looked towards the man child "yes kiara! It's important she knows this valuable lesson from a young age" he defended as they turned to Jason.

"I tried to talk him out of it" he held his hands up in surrender. Groaning slightly he stood up with his niece in his arms "now I'm gonna go teach her something worth knowing, like where  the cookies are and how to get to them" he began walking off towards the kitchen.
