Chapter 4

Mals P. O. V.
After the dance, all ten of us, Ben, Evie, Doug, Jane, Carlos, Lonnie, Jay, Audrey, Chad and I made our way to our favorite restaurant. "Tiana's New Orleans."

We were immediately sat down when we arrived.ot wasn't to packed, which made the night even better. After the waiter came and took our orders, we started talking about the dance and how amazing it was.

"Okay, I can't keep it in anymore, are you two engaged or not?" Evie blurts out.

"EVIE" Everyone yells except for Ben and I.

"Wait all of you knew?" I asked pointing to all of them.

"Well duh. He asked for our permission a couple of weeks ago." Carlos says gestureing to Evie, Jay, and himself.

"Your just a big romantic. Asking my family. Now who else knows?" I asked, turning my head to Ben.

"Well you guys, my parents, and the council." He says the last part hesitate.

"How'd they take it?" I say laughing to myself. They absolutely hate me with all their guts.

"Not to well, but they can kiss my a...... "

"Benjamin!" I warn cutting him off.

" Sorry, but yes Evie, Mal and I are engaged." Ben says smiling at me. I was getting so tired, I could probably fall asleep right here. I layed my head down on Ben's shoulder.

"Yay. Now Mal, what do you want your wedding dress to look like, and what are the colors?"

"EVIE" We all yelled.

"Sorry, I'm just so excited." She says settling down.

"When can tell Evie." I say laughing.

"Here's your food." The waiter comes out of no where.

We've been here for an hour eating and talking, and If I stay here another moment I might just pass out.

"Ben can we go?" I whisper in his ear. He turns to nodding his head.

"Sorry guys, but I think I need to take Miss sleepy head over here, home." Ben says.

"Rude." I say slightly shoving him.

"Bey Mal, bye Ben." They say while we're getting up.

Ben and I were walking hand in hand, in the peaceful silence, enjoying the things surrounding us. We left the limo with our friends so they could get back. We were heading towards the doors before Ben said something.

"Mal you wanna come stay with me tonight?" He ask getting excited.

"Of course Ben." I say smiling at him. My phone started to go off and when I picked it up Low and behold it was Evie calling me.

"Yes Evie?"

"Enjoy your night with Ben!"

"How'd you know?"

"I have my ways." She says, then hanging up on me.

Ben and I have spent nights before. Of course his parents didn't know though. They didn't want, quote on quote, "I don't need any grand babies anytime soon." So I'm assuming that once again he's parents are not gonna be there tonight, or tomorrow morning.

When we got there I soon realized that I had no clothes to change into. Great thinking Mal. When I walked into his room though I saw one of my bags sitting on Ben's bed.

I go to the bathroom after Ben is done, and change. Soon realizing that the pj's Evie packed me were a pair of booty shorts, and a tank top. I quickly pull out my phone and text her.

Mal:"thNks for the pj's😡😡."
Evie:"I figured Ben would enjoy them😉😉"
Mal:"your dead Evelyn Grimhilda😵😵"
Evie:"oh well. So much for graduation. 🤣🤣. Goodnight Mal."
Mal:"Goodnight Evie."

I walk out of the bathroom only to see Ben and his bulging eyes.

"Don't say a word" I say crawling in bed.
