Chapter 30 Part 2

Mals P. O. V.

Never did I think I'd be back on this carriage becoming Queen of Auradon. Never in my life did I even think I would be in Auradon. Now here I am becoming Queen, waving to all the people of Auradon like I did when I first got here.

When the carriage rolls up to the front of the cathedral and a guard opens the door, Ben hops out and holds out his hand towards me for me to get out. I glady take it and we began our way up the big staircase. When we reached the top of the staircase, there stood Belle and Adam just like at Ben's coronation. Belle had immediately pulled me into a hug.

"I want you to know Adam and I are very proud of you. The both of you. You two have grown so much since the last time we stood here." She says getting teary eyed.

"Thank you." I say.

"We'll see you in there." Adam says holding out his arm to Belle. She takes it and they go inside. I turn to face Ben who is still standing there.

"I love you so much." He says grabbing my face and kissing me.

"I love you too." I say. He turns around and then walks in himself.

I face the door taking a deep breath as the music starts. That's my que. Here goes nothing.

The big doors open and I start to walk the long aisle. Walking past more people, then people I recognize from school but never knew their names, then some royals I've yet to meet, then my friends, earning a thumbs up for Evie, Carlos, and Jay, then lastly I pass the council, some with smiles and the rest blank emotions.

Then finally I reach the podium where Belle, Adam, Fairy Godmother, and Ben stand. All of them smiling down at me earning a smile from me in return as I kneel down. Fairy Godmother turns around and grabs the crown off of Belles head and puts it on my head. Then she grabs her wand and does her thing. Y'all know the drill.

"Do you solemnly swear to govern the people of Auradon along side your king with justice and mercy as long as you shall reign?"

"I do solemnly swear."

"Then it is my honor and my joy to bless our new Queen. Long Live the Queen." She says as I stand up.

"Long Live the Queen!" Everyone follows suit.

(It sets place like it did it the movie but Lonnie is there.)

"Are you sure you wanna do this son?" Ben's dad asked for the last time.

"Yes Dad. Now let's do this." He said grabbing my hand.

The trumpets played and Lumiere litterly came out of nowhere.
"Please welcome former King Adam and Lady Belle." He said. The people started to clap, then Lumiere calmed them down. "And Now please welcome King Benjamin and for the first time, her majesty. Queen Mal." Ben and I walked out hand in hand, everyone clapping once again.

"Thank you everyone for coming. As you know, we're here not just to celebrate Queens Mal new crowning, but also to celebrate the fact that the barrier is coming down for good." Everyone clapped even louder than what they did before. Ben looked over at me smiling down at me. "Bring down the barrier Mal." He said. He looked down in the audience looking for Evie, Carlos, and Jay, and when he spotted them he gestured for them to come up here.

"Thank you Fairy Godmother." I say when she hands me the wand.

"No problem your majesty." She said bowing. I don't think I'll ever get used to that.

I walked back over to Ben being joined by Evie, Carlos, and Jay.

"You ready?" Jay asked me.

"As I'll ever be." I say. I took a deep breath and started the spell. "To make the world a better place.... " I sayed.
