Chapter 24

Mal's P. O. V.
What am I gonna do? What am I gonna do? Ben's parents are gonna kill us. We just graduated from high school. We're not even married. Hell, I'll be 5 months pregnant by the time that rolls around. I'm only 18, I can't be a mother! This can't be real. Someone pinch me, please!!

Walking back to Ben and I's room I could feel my nerves getting the best of me. I knew Ben wouldn't be mad, he would be over the moon happy. He's always wanted a kid. I see that when Auradon Prep students get to plan the schools festival and Ben is always in charge of doing games for the children. I see how much his face brightens when he talks to kids. I know how much this means for Ben, but I can't help think how will the rest of the world act. How will the Council react to this. They already hate Ben and I as it is, and adding this. Lord Jesus when did my life become so complicated?

"Mal? " I turn around to see Jane standing in the hallway.

"Hi Jane."

"Are you ok? You've been standing there for like 15 minutes."

"Yeah, I think so. You don't happen to know of Ben left the room yet, do you? "

"Ummm yeah. He and the other boys went out to the beach about half an hour ago. Lonnie was actually going to get Evie, and I was coming to get you. We were heading out and wanted to know if you guys wanted to come? "

"Yeah, sure. Let me just go get my bathing suit and I will meet you guys down there."

"Okay" She walks off happily. I sigh to myself and walk into my room.

"There's my girl! " Ben yells running toward me all wet.

"Benjamin hug me, and you gonna get slapped! " I yelled at him, but of course he does it anyway. So I did what I said I was gonna do. I slapped him right across the chest but he didn't care, he gave me a kiss, he's lips tasting like salt water.

"Totally worth the slap." He says running off back to the water.

"I'm gonna kill you!" I yell.

"No you won't!" He turns around and yells. I laugh and go to sit my bag down, and head to the water. I put my toes in the water and watch Ben play around tossing the freezebee in the water with the other boys. I close my eyes and enjoy the warmth of the sun hitting my body.

"Come on mommy. Come join us." I hear my little 4 year old daughter say.

"Yeah mommy, come join us." I hear my husband of almost 3 years now say.

"Mommy's coming." I say, joining my family with my six month pregnant stomach.

I join my family in the water splashing, and helping my daughter attack her father. Oh how I love this. My daughter and my husband, and my unborn child. My perfect little family.

I felt hands wrap around my big stomach, and then Ben's head on my shoulder.

"You happy? " He ask.

"With you and her, always."

"I love you." He says whispering in my ear.

"I love you too." I say smiling at him, kissing him, and his lips once again taste like salt.

"Ewwww, Mommy, Daddy, no kisses." My beautiful light brown headed daughter says covering her face.

"Okay, maybe no mommy daddy kisses, but maybe I can tackle you with kisses." Ben says chasing our daughter out of the water. She tries to run but Ben caries her and showers her in kisses.
