No ones P. O. V.
Several more weeks went by. Mals due date was just six days away. I could say she was over the moon happy, but that wasn't the case. She spent the last several weeks trying not to become more attached to her child then she already was, so it wouldn't be as hard to give up her daughter.Ben knew what she was trying to do, he was doing the same thing. They hadn't even talked about their child during the last seven weeks.
Everyone tried to drop the subject, but as Mals due date was coming closer they would ask her questions that she never replied to. It was hard on everyone.
Belle, Beast, and Hades tried to cheer up their children, take them off the fact that they would be giving away their child for who knows how long, but nothing seem to work.
________________________________________"So, how does it feel that by the end of the week you'll be a mother?" Evie asks as she takes a sip of her coffee.
"Can we not talk about this?" Mal asks rubbing her stomach. Ben looked over at her and grabbed her hand.
"Sorry." Evie says instantly regretting opening her mouth.
"It's okay Evie, just a sensitive subject." Mal says reassuring her friend.
"So you two, have you guys planned anything for your wedding?" Ben asked changing the subject.
"Not really. Ever since I've proposed, Evie business has taken off, so we figured once Evie got used to her work schedule we start planning. But then you know that's when the whole Maleficent thing happened." Doug says.
"Oh okay." Ben says not sure what to talk about now. The four of them sat there in uncomfortable silence not sure what to talk about. Then Bens phone started going off startling everyone.
"Hello?"
"Hi Ben, just wanted to let you know your grandfather is here." His mother says.
"Oh okay. Thank you. We're on our way." Ben says hanging up.
"Guess we gotta go." Mal asks.
"Yeah. Bye guys."
________________________________________"Grandpa!" Ben says walking into living area of the castle.
"Ben." He says pulling him into a hug. "How you've been?" He asks.
"Okay. Oh yeah grandpa, this is Mal." Ben says gesturing to his fiance. Maurice immediately pulled Mal into a hug.
"Its so nice to finally meet you Mal. I've heard numerous things about you."
"Me too. I'm glad to have finally met you." Mal says.
"May I?" Maurice asks putting his hands up to Mals stomach. Earning a nod from Mal as he placed his hands on her stomach getting a lot of kicks from the baby. "Well someone sure is excited." He said.
"Yeah no kidding. The closer Saturday comes around the more she wants to kick." She said smiling to herself. Then turning into a frown as she reliezed what Saturday actually meant. "Well I'm going to go up to bed now. See you all tomorrow." Mal says leaving the room about to cry.
Everyone looked towards to Ben as she left the room.
"I'll go check on her." He says following Mal.

12 weeks earlier"Ben what are we doing?"
"It's a surprise."
"You know how I feel about surprises."
"Well I think you'll like this one."
"Your not planning my death are you?"
"Never. Now just stand here, take the blindfold off."
When Mal opened her eyes she found herself standing in the middle of a nursery. Pinks, blues and purples everywhere. Cute little stuffed animals in the crib. A rocking chair near the window. A changing table on the left side of the room.
"Ben, it's beautiful."
"I figured with everything going on I'd do something to take our minds off of everything."
"I love it."
_________________________________________Ben checked his room then Mals room, and she wasnt in there either. There was only one other place she would be in this castle. The nursery. Mal hadn't set foot in the nursery since Ben surprised her. But Ben was in there every night before he went to bed. Every night he hold his daughters blanket in his hand. Every night.
"Mal?" And there she was. Sitting in the rocking chair looking out the window. "Mal, baby. We need to talk about this."
"How about Juliet?" Mal says.
"What?"
"You said lets talk. The baby needs a name. So, what do do think about Juliet." She says turning her head to face her fiance.
"I think it's a beautiful name, but Mal you know that's not what I meant."
"You want me to talk about giving our child away. Okay Ben sure, let's talk. We're about to give away our child to your grandfather all because my mother has some type of revenge fantasy. No one has seen or heard from her since the party. And who's gonna stop her when she comes. We all know that I'm the only one who can stop her, and I'm gonna be laying in the bed helpless while she's out attacking all of Auradon. Don't you see Ben all of this is because of me. I'm the one who wanted to take the barrier down. And now our child has to suffer because of me. It my fault." She said crying and yelling in her fiance's face.
"It's not your fault Mal. None of this is your fault, it's hers. She made the her decision, and it's up to us to stop her. Your not alone in this Mal. You have Audrey, Chad, Jane, Lonnie, Doug, Carlos, Jay, Evie, your dad, my parents, and me. We all have your back Mal." Ben said trying to calm her down. He pulled Mal into his arms, and they both stood there crying. Eventually the tears stopped and they just stood there.
"So, Juliet?" Ben said breaking the silence.
"What?"
"You said the baby needed a name. I actually really like Juliet." Ben said.
"You do?" Mal asked hopeful.
"I do. Juliet Florian." Ben says.
"Any middle names?" Mal asked.
"How about Rose?" Ben asked.
"Juliet Rose Florian. I love it." Mal said noticing something. "Um Ben?"
"Yeah?"
"I think my water just broke."
