Chapter 17

Mals P. O. V.

"Mal wake up." I hear Evie say.

"What do you want Evie?" I say rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

"It graduation day. Your suppose to help me deliever caps and gowns."

"Okay, okay. I'm up." I went to get out of bed only to step on a dang darn box.

"Ow"

"I told you to move your stuff to the castle yesterday."

"I know, but Ben wasn't able to come over and help."

"Oh, why? "

"They called in a late meeting. You know almost everytime Ben and I have Something planned, they make some excuse to pull him away."

"Maybe you should talk to him about it."

" You know what Evie, your right. I'll talk to him later."

"Good.Now c'mon. You don't want to have to be the one to tell fairy godmother why everyone is late to their own graduation."

"Okay, I'm coming."

Evie had made everyone's graduation gowns. It had been personalized for everyone. The Caps were gorgeous, and gowns each had matching scarf that represented everybody.

"Good afternoon parents."

Graduation. The time had finally came. Us graduates were waiting behind the stage, that was laid out in the middle of the tourney field. Hundred of chairs filled with family and friends. A whole camera crew that was prodcasting on the isle.

Us VKs in the back of line. Everybody else in front. VKs according to fairy godmother had to have their own little special announcement. Honestly I just wanted to be treated like everyone else.

"I am so proud to introduce our 2019 graduates."

Fairy godmother started reading off name by name. Each one getting a little cheer from their family and friends.

We waited for our names to be called. One by one the line started to get shorter. And before we knew it our turn came up.

"And it is my pleasure honor to introduce your King, our student, and friend. King Benjamin."

All we could here was loud clapping before he told everyone to settle down.

"Okay, okay. Thank you fairy godmother for that introduction. Now 2 years ago, I invited 4 very special students to attend Auradon Prep. Not only did they do a better job than all of us expected. But they are here today to graduate. We would like to began with Carlos de vil. He is not only graduating today, but he is leaving us today, and starting his very Vet clinic right here in Auradon."

Carlos went out with a big smile. Us back here were the loudest until we realized that no one else was still clapping, and then we heard laughing.

"Well as you can hear, I have a whole cheering section back there."

More laughing.

"Our next graduate still has an option to make, and he has told us that he is ready to make it. Please welcome Auradons most valuable player, Jay."

Once again Evie and I were the loudest.

"Jay I believe you have made a choice."

"Yes. I have chosen, to assist coach Jenkins next year instead of going pro. This may be a shocker, but I wannted to give back to the school and people that made me and my friends feel welcome."

Awww, Jay and his words always made Evie and I tear up.

"Thank you Jay. Today's graduation outfits you may have noticed are uniquely designed to match each and everyone styles. Now this next graduate designed all of these. She is leaving here today with her career already in business. Her new Evie 4 hearts collection is to make an official debut this summer, with her new Evies summer collection. Please welcome this graduate Miss Evie."

Evie went, and she was crying tears of happiness, poor Evie could never contain herself in moments like this.

"And now for our very last graduate of 2019. This graduate has been through a lot this year. From getting engaged, getting into a fatal car accident, with weeks of physical therapy, and now she is here. After today Mal will be studying to become your next Auradon Queen."

Of course Ben always has to ram his mouth.

"Everyone here has Wroten one thing Mal has taught them. And a few of those responses are: Mal taught me that I can get through the tough times. Mal taught me how to be me without thinking what other people opions are. Mal taught me that beauty lies within. Mal taught me what true friends are. And Mal taught me the meaning of true love."

I knew who each of those responses were from. It was kinda abvious, including the last one.

"Now Mal has left a mark on all of us says one student. As you can tell Mal has done nothing but be kind, generous, loving, and a great friend. And it is my pleasure and honor to be the one to do this. Please welcome Mal voted by all, student and friend of the year."

I went up on stage with tears in my eyes. I shook Fairy Godmother hand, and turned to Ben. He held out his hand and when I went to shake it, he pulled me into a kiss, and the crowd went absolutely wild. And I was loving every moment of this.

Soon the crowd settled down and fairy godmother took the Mike again.

"Now, we have asked Evie, Jay, Carlos, and Mal to make speeches today, but they came up with an idea a few days ago and asked me to share this with you. So if you all would please pay attention to the projection."

There were laughs, and some tears, mostly from us, and then there was a lot of clapping.

"Do you four have anything else to say?"

We nodded our heads. Ben, Jane, Lonnie, and Doug came up behind us with our original Vks jackets.

"Cause were rotten...... "

"To the core."

"And with that. I now pronounce all of you High school graduates of 2019. Congratulations."

We through our caps up in the air, and everything went crazy.

People were hugging, they were kissing. Well I was kissing Ben. And there was clapping. Lots of clapping.

Now it was party time.

The party was once again held at the beast castle. Everything was decorated in yellow and blue. And tonight just felt like a night where there was no pressure, no who's gonna become queen, no who's dress is better, and no rules.

Everyone was dancing. A few eating, or chit chatting.

The party was overall awesome.

"Mal."

"Yes."

"Do you want to maybe, I don't know, get out of here."

"Yes actually I Would."

Ben and I went up to his room, but stopped me before I went in.

"I love you." He told me.

"I love you too."

I kissed him and he kissed back, and before I Knew it, I was lying in bed with him the next morning, naked.
