Chapter 26

Two weeks later.
Mal's P. O. V.

Going back home never felt so frightening. I felt my nerves getting the best of me since we left 2 days ago, and now that we're actually back in Auradon, I felt like I was going to throw up.

I was about a month pregnant. I know still early, but it's normal for people to find out early sometimes.

But going back home to face Adam and Belle, and not being able to tell them yet is a whole other level than telling Ben.

"Mal?" I hear Ben say, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yes." I say spinning around.

"You ready?" He starts grabbing the bags. Guess were already here.

"Yeah! " I say starting to leave the room.

"Mal, I promise you that everything will be just fine." He could tell that I was worried.

"I know." But something felt wrong. I knew somehow, something wasn't wrong, and something needed to be changed, I just couldn't put my finger on it.

"Mal, it is so nice to see you. How are you? " Was the first thing I was greeted to when I walked off the boat. Belle pulling me into a hug. I didn't mind though. Belle hugs, always made me feel better.

"I'm doing just fine. And it's food to be home." I say hugging her back.

"Well it's good to have you home. All of you. Now please, come join us for dinner. I'm sure all of you are hungry." Adam says loud and proud.

"Thanks dad, but I'm sure everyone would like to go home and take showers and unpack." Ben says.

"Now Ben, it isn't polite to deny food." Jay says patting Ben's back. Everyone started to laugh. Typical Jay. Always looking for food.

"Okay Jay, I won't deny you food. Everyone to the castle." Ben yells, making all of us laugh yet again.

No one P. O. V
That night
While Ben got in the shower, Mal sat in the bed just thinking. Her hand rested on her stomach, rubbing her thumb on her stomach. Mal couldn't help but smile to her self. The thought of having a little Ben hadn't crossed her mind yet. And right now she was thinking about it. Belle has shown her pictures of little Ben; him running around the castle naked, and his father chasing after him, or when he refused to eat his food, so he fell asleep in it.

Mals P. O. V.

I couldn't help but laugh, and wonder if our child would be just like him or me.

"What's got you thinking so hard? " Ben asks breaking me out of my thoughts, while standing in the bathroom door way, in only a pair of boxers

"What do you think our child will be? A girl or boy?" I ask smiling down at my stomach. When I feel the bed shift, I know he's sitting next me.

"I think it's a boy." He says. I look up smiling at him.

"Why's that? "

"A father's intuition." He says. "What do you think?"

"I think it's a girl." I say continually rubbing my stomach.

"Why do you think it's a girl? " He says taking my hand in his.

"It might sound crazy, but the day before I told you that I was pregnant. I had this daydream, of you and little girl running around the beach. She looked just like you." I said smiling up at him.

"I don't think that's crazy at all." He pulls my hand to his mouth and kisses it.

"I love you." I say.

"I love you too." He says

I never liked the doctors. Come to think of it, the only time I was at the doctors, was when the car accident happened. Never needed them, but now I do. Guess I have to deal with it now. But it's gonna be worth it.

"So I hear Auradons expecting a heir." The doctor says walking into the room.

"Hi Doc." Ben says getting up from the bed to greet him.

That's another thing. Member rule number 2.

When the Queen of Auradon is expecting, she shall found her choice in midwives and give a natural birth.

Well that also means home visits. Which means we had to sneak him in.

"Good morning Ben, Mal."

"Morning Doc."

"Okay, well let's get started."

"This might be a little cold." Doc says spreading some gel on my stomach. "Okay, here's the Uderius and there's your baby." He presses a button and points to the screen. Ben grabs my hand and while I can swear he was starting to tear up. "It looks to me like your about 6 weeks. It might be early to hear the heartbeat, but let's see." He pushes a couple of buttons and then I hear it. That's my baby's heartbeat.

"That's our baby." I say looking up Ben.

"It very much is." We share a kiss and I'm pretty sure we grossed Doc out.

"Okay then, I'm going to take that as my cue. I'm assuming you want photos?" He's already pushing buttons.

"Yes please." Ben answers.

By the time Ben answered, Doc was already giving us pictures.

"Mal, I expect to see you every two weeks, and when you get closer to your due date, we'll start meeting every week. And when your about sixteen weeks, we can find out the gender of your baby. Sound good?" He ask.

"Sure does." I say.

"You two take care now." He says leaving.

"Thank you Doc." Ben's to late, the door has already been shut. Ben turns around and starts jumping up and down like a toddler.

"We're going to have a baby. We're going to have a baby!" He starts to yell.

"Ben, shut up! Someone's gonna hear you." I start to yell.

"I'm sorry. I love you." He trys to cover up his goofiness.

"Come here you big goofball." He tackles me in tickles and kisses. Oh how I love this boy.
