Gusto ko nang matulog.
But I can't. I was awake all night studying, I didn't get to sleep at all. I was hoping to take a little nap at school, pero sa tuwing pipikit ko ang mata ko, kinakabahan ako at baka may makalimutan ako. That's why instead of taking a nap, here I am, reviewing everything from the beginning.
"Woah, did you have a mental breakdown or something?" tanong ni Coleen pagka-kita sa akin. Tumango nalang ako, pero ang totoo niyan, hindi pa. I can't have a breakdown before a test, sayang oras.
"You'll be fine! I'm pretty sure you'll ace this test." Coleen said to cheer me up. Mas lalo lang akong na-pressure dahil sa sinabi niya.
Napahilamos ako sa sarili. Those three cups of coffee I drank earlier didn't had an effect at all. Siguro meron, palpitations.
"Good luck!" Eliezer tapped me on my shoulder. I managed to smile at him and said the same too.
The exam started, everyone is taking it seriously, and so do I. I tried to answered every single questions on the paper, nang nakakalahati na ako ay humihirap na ang mga tanong. I remember reading the words, but I don't recall the answer. I was frustrated and skipped those.
The exam ended. I sighed. There were 8 questions I wasn't sure of. Kung namali ko lahat ng iyon ay bawas pa din sa grade, kahit gaano ka-konti.
It's fine. Eight points won't do anything.
"Sachi! 'Di ka ba mag l-lunch?" pag yayaya sa akin ni Coleen.
"Hindi. Matutulog lang ako." sabi ko. She shrugged and dragged Eliezer out of the room. Madalas nang sumasabay sa amin si Eliezer kumain, I want to see how it will go if it was just the two of them.
Tumungo ako sa desk ko, at maya-maya pa ay hindi ko namalayang nakatulog na ako.
Coleen's
Nasabi ko na ba na ang daldal ni Eliezer? Oo, ang daldal ni Eliezer. Mula pag labas namin ng room, hanggang sa pag order at pag upo, hindi siya tumitigil sa pag sasalita. Kung nandito lang si Sachi, siya sana ang kadaldalan nito. May sense naman ang mga sinasabi niya, but isn't it weird for a guy to talk this much?
"Tapos si Via, feeling ko may ginawa siya kay Stacey."
Finally, some good gossip. Napa-angat ako ng tingin kay Eliezer at nakinig sa sinasabi niya. It's kind of funny because he gossips much better than a girl, and I'm enjoying it.
"What did she do this time?" I asked. Sachi's been telling me how rude is Via towards her, I'm not surprised if Eliezer hates her too.
"Kael's phone went missing, right? Sa'kin niya lang sinabi na nawawala 'yon, tapos maya-maya pa, dumating si Via, sabi niya nahanap niya na daw? Ofcourse I didn't believed her!"
Just when he started bad mouthing the vice president, she appeared right before our table, along with Natalia. Via's expression was priceless, habang hindi naman makatingin ng diretso sakaniya si Natalia.
"What's this? You spread rumors like a girl, Eli." sabi ni Via. I remained silent, I don't want to be dragged into a student council fight.
"Bakit? Totoo naman?"
I liked how Eliezer roasted her easily and smoothly. Via looked pretty annoyed. Nag titinginan na ang mga tao dito, two student council arguing, who wouldn't be interested?
"Kahit nga si Kael hindi naniwala sayo e." dagdag pa ni Eliezer.
"It was just a phone. It doesn't matter! You should atleast be thankful—"
