Sophie woke up to the sound of a crash downstairs. She jumped up, ran a brush through her hair, and ran downstairs. To her surprise, Keefe was eating breakfast along with Mr. Forkle.

"Mr. Forkle? What are you doing here?" Sophie asked.

"I came over to talk to you about something that recently happened," Mr. Forkle explained.

"Along with eating all the mallowmelt," Keefe added with a scowl.

Sophie ignored Keefe and asked, "What's going on?"

"Did Dex fill you in on what he discovered yesterday?"

Sophie replied, "Yes," while Keefe replied, "No," Keefe looked at Sophie with a shocked expression on his face.

"When did you talk to him?" Keefe asked.

"Around 3 in the morning," Sophie admitted.

Keefe laughed, then said, "Wow, he must've been fun to talk to that early,"

"Anyway," Mr. Forkle interrupted. "About an hour after Ro got crazy, we got the news that Fintan got put into Exile.

Exile? Sophie thought to herself. After all the horrid things he's done, why was he suddenly sentenced to Exile?

"Because they finally caught him. All this time, he's gotten away. And no, Miss Foster, I did not read your thoughts. I know you, and you were bound to have thought that question."

"Do you think we could get information from him?" Sophie asked.

"Yes, but it won't be useful. Every time we go and interrogate someone from the Neverseen, they either lie or feed us information that will end in them attacking us. We need to come up with a way to stop them once and for all."

"I was going to suggest we just put them all in Exile, but how would we do that without them leaving like they always do?" Sophie said, thinking out loud.

"That is what I want you and Mr. Sencen to work on today.

"Alright! Team Foster-Keefe for the win!" Keefe said with a big grin.

Sophie gave Keefe a small smile before turning back to Mr. Forkle and asked, "Can we meet up again at 5pm to talk about what we hopefully came up with?"

"Sure. See you then," Mr. Forkle said as he pulled out his pathfinder and leaped away. Sophie and Keefe went upstairs into Sophie's room to start working. Sophie grabbed and a notebook and pencil.

"Do you have any ideas?" She asked Keefe.

"Aw, c'mon Foster, we have all day to come up with something. Why don't we have some fun?"

Sophie sighed, "Are you really going to drag this out?" Keefe responded with a big smile.

"Okay, what if we go over to Everglen and invite everyone over to play Base Quest or something. But you have to promise we will start working no later than 2pm."

"Sounds like a plan," Keefe said. Sophie got out her Imparter and hailed all her friends to see if they could hang out in an hour at Everglen.

"Alright, everyone can make it except Dex. He's still trying to figure out that machine."

"Okay," Keefe said. They told Edaline and Grady the plan, then went to the Leapmaster.

"Ready?" Sophie asked. Keefe nodded, and their fingers intertwined. Sophie's heartbeat increased, and Keefe flashed her a smirk. Before he could say anything, she pulled them into the light.
