"Are you okay?" Sophie asked when she saw Fitz. His arms were covered in scratches along with a single cut on the left side of his face.

"I'm doing better. How are you?" He asked. She didn't say anything. It had been a week and a half since the fight happened. The planting occurred a few days ago, and it was heartbreaking. His tree was tall with light bark. The leaves curled out, making it seem like organized chaos. The flowers were blue and matched his eyes perfectly.

"Sophie?" Fitz asked.

She realized she didn't answer his question. She looked at him and said, "I'm fine."

"We both know that's not true - look at you." He said. She looked over at a mirror and saw herself. Her hair was pulled back in a sloppy ponytail. She had dark circles under her eyes, and her clothes were wrinkled. It wasn't her best look.

She didn't notice Fitz had left until she looked around and realized she was alone.

She sat down next to Keefe and took a deep breath.

"It's been a miserable week and a half,"  Sophie transmitted.

"I went to your planting. Your tree is beautiful,"  She wondered what that may have implied.

"I don't know what to do. You need to come back, but I don't know how. I don't even know if you are still here - I could be transmitting to Bullhorn for all I know,"  She admitted. She felt something shoot through her mind again. It felt like sadness and anger. It felt like loss.

"I keep feeling these... things. Bursts of emotions."  She said, trying to figure out what it was. She felt it again, but this time it felt like panic and hope.

"Keefe?"  Excitement and joy filled her mind.

"Is that you?" Joy filled her mind again. Sophie broke the connection and looked at Keefe. He was lying there just as lifeless as before.

"I don't understand," She whispered.

"You don't understand what?" Elwin asked while walking into the room. Sophie jumped back, startled by his sudden appearance.

"I've been feeling these sudden bursts of emotions come into my mind every now and then. I think they are coming from Keefe," Sophie said.

Elwin's expression softened and said, "I know you miss him, but he's gone. I think it's time to move him."

"He's not gone. I can feel it. Please, recheck him."

He sighed but walked over to him. That's when she heard him gasp.

"What? What is it?" She asked, feeling hopeful.

"How is this possible?" Elwin whispered. "I can feel his pulse," Sophie told herself to stop feeling hope, but she couldn't help it. Keefe was going to be okay.
