"Sweetheart, there's no do-overs in practice."

"Of course you're still the team captain." I reassure, following the two boys out onto the field. "You got your grades up just like Coach told you to, right?"
"Yeah, but he never told me I was back on the team." Scott replies. "He just told me to show up at tryouts today."
"We've got bigger things to deal with anyway." Stiles tells us. "Did you tell Argent yet?"
"I texted him but he didn't get back to me." Scott answers.
"You told him his sister, Kate, came back from the dead over text?" I say, raising an eyebrow.
Scott pauses. "I didn't have the money to call France."
"Yeah, you think you got money problems? Try paying for an MRI and a visit to Eichen House." Stiles says, frustration laced in his voice.
"Another notice?" Scott asks.
Stiles sighs. "Yeah, this one said 'final'. What the hell are we even do here anyway? We've got 117 million problems and worrying about our status on the lacrosse team isn't one of them."
I look out to the field of players, catching sight of a particular player. "It is now."
Stiles looks at me with confusion before turning around to see the boy in goal catch every single ball coming his way. Stiles and Scott glance at each other with slight fear while I just nod, impressed.
"Who the hell is that?" Stiles asks.
The freshman in goal takes off his helmet, revealing his blonde hair and blue eyes, and talks to the other two players.
Stiles purses his lips. "Maybe we should just practice a little bit."

I follow the two boys into the boys locker room, making our way over to the freshman that was in goal.
"Hey Liam." Stiles begins. "Want to explain what that was out there?"
"What do you mean?" Liam asks, confused.
"That little display, your little circus act." Stiles says. "You caught every shot."
