"I can't handle this." Liam whines as he lays on the bench in the locker rooms.
"Yes, you can." Mason replies. "You've handle so much worse than this. You're practically the alpha now."
"I'm nothing without her." Liam continues as Corey pulls the lacrosse gear over the broken boys head. "Hayden left me."
"She moved to protect her sister." I tell him. "It's not like she dumped you or anything."
"Plus, Y/n is handling it just fine." Corey points out. "You know, with Stiles going to college."
"Scott's going to college too!" Liam whines.
"Going to college isn't leaving, okay?" Mason replies. "It's called growing up and we're all gonna be going to different colleges eventually."
"Summers almost over and you're about to seniors." I tell Liam. "You're still captain of the lacrosse team so get out there."

A player had tackled Liam, causing his eyes to glow yellow and growl. Scott and I rush over, trying to get him to stop it. I hold Liam's head down so that no one can see, Scott turning to talk to Coach. Scott turns back around, pulling Liam and I go out feet to face a bloodied wolf that's slowly inching closer to us.
"Everyone back." Scott tells them.
Everyone begins to make their way backwards, Nolan standing there in shock. Coach quickly pulls Nolan back, leaving the three of us to face the wolf. I watch Scott's eyes glow red, the wolf whimpering and returning to the woods with a limp. The three of us follow it into the woods.
"You think it's a wolf wolf or?" Liam asks.
"I think it's just a wolf." Scott replies.
We come to a stop at the sight of the wolf lying dead in front of us, many spiders crawling out it's eyes and mouth. I look up to se more wolves scattered around the forest, all dead.
"Guys.." I begin. "Look."

"Whatever happened to those wolves was definitely supernatural." Liam says as he and Scott attempt to close a suitcase.
"Well, I wouldn't say definitely." Scott replies. "It could've been a parasitic infection. I mean, we get dogs that come into the clinic that have botflies coming out of their skin."
"Can that happens to people?" Liam asks.
"Yeah, they crawl under the skin, lay some eggs, and eventually they burst." I tell Liam.
