"Lydia, what the hell does wine have to do with anything?"

I lean against the wall to Stiles' hospital room, not letting him see me just yet. They told me he's okay, just a concussion. Melissa stands in the doorway, looking at Stiles who I can hear shuffling around.

"Did you find a tape player?" I hear Stiles ask.

"No, but someone's here to see you." Melissa replies.

"Is it Scott or Y/n?" Stiles questions.

"Excuse me, my name should be before Scott's." I joke, stepping into view.

A wide smile spreads across Stiles face. Melissa leaves the room, closing the door behind her. I make my way over to Stiles, throwing my arms around his which causes him to fall back onto the bed, the two of us laughing.

"Glad to know you're okay." I say into the crook of his neck.

"Obviously." Stiles replies, using a 'duh' tone. "You can't get rid of me just by one punch."

"Shame." I giggle, joking.

He begins to tickle my side, causing me to roll over and laugh uncontrollably. Stiles hovers above me and stops tickling me, the two of us staring into one another's eyes. His eyes flicker down to my lips for a split second, causing my heart rate to increase massively. Does he like like me? No, there's no way. A sound is heard at the door, Stiles immediately jumping off of me as we see Malia standing there.

"Malia?" I question.

Malia doesn't answer, moving her gaze from us and turning to open the door once again to find out that it's locked, Stiles and I attempting to open it too.

"Maybe it was an accident." Stiles suggests.

"You don't just accidentally lock a door." Malia points out.

"Well, maybe she wasn't thinking it through." Stiles continues. "People sometimes do things without thinking them through."

"Then she's stupid." Malia replies.

"Even smart people can do stupid things because they think it's the right thing." I explain. "I don't think we should hold it against her, especially because she's tried apologising through texts and voicemails."

Malia steps closer to me. "Is she going to keep begging?"

"She might." I answer.

"I don't have much practice in things like forgiveness." Malia tells me. "Some things I'm picking up fast but other things are like.."
