i've seen a few people 'annoyed' about how long it took for y/n and stiles to get together. i did this because i wanted to follow the stydia storyline, allowing their friendship to grow and showing how some teenagers in high school are afraid to speak up about their crushes. i hope this explains why i chose to do it this way instead :)

another thing: i kept y/n human because i wanted to show that you can still be strong without having a supernatural ability like others. i think in a way in made y/n and stiles closer since they're clinging to each other for support since they know what one another is experiencing.
