??: just one pic.
????: josh is gonna kill you for this.
?: i cant believe them.
??: guys leave them alone.

i slowly open my eyes and see all the guys and girls standing at the foot of the bed staring down at me.

me: ...what?

i mumble and try to rub my eyes but my arm is stuck. i look over and see josh laying beside me with his arms rapped around me.

me: shit *under my breath*

i shake josh to try and wake him. everyone starts laughing and my face is red. everyone walks out except payton and anthony.

payton: i guess y'all had a fun night.

josh slowly opens his eyes when he hears payton.

me: josh, get up.
josh: wait what just happened.
anthony: we caught you two lovebirds

they start laughing. josh and i look at each other and they all start laughing.

me: well so you guys know, not that it's your business, nothing happened last night.
payton: sureeeeee.

i roll my eyes and get out of bed but josh raps his arms around me, pulling me back into bed. the guys walk out.

josh: don't go just yet.
me: josh i have to, i have work in 30 minutes.

he frowns at me and lets go. he buries his head back into his pillow. i grab a pillow and throw it at him. he sits up and throws it at me before i walk out the door. i turn and look at him laughing at me.

me: oh it's on.

i run back and jump on the bed and start attacking him with a pillow. we have a full pillow fight until i hear a knock. i turn to see allissa walk in.

allissa: woahhh what did i just walk into.
me: a pillow fight *laughs*
allissa: well hate to interrupt *winks at me* but kate you have work in just a little bit so we need to head back to the apartment.
me: okay mom.

allissa laughs and walks out. i set the pillow down beside josh and get up. before i walk out the door, i turn back and look at josh.

me: i definitely won that fight.
josh: oh hell nah.

we both laugh and he gets up to walk down with me. when we make it to the kitchen, avani yanks my arm and pulls me into a hallway.

avani: ssooooo you and josh?!
me: oh god *laughs* i knew this was coming.
avani: well it's obvious you both like each other..
me: yes...of course i do. but it's complicated. we have different lives and he also lives in a different country.
avani: canada isn't far from new york, kate. i understand the different life thing. but if you really like him for him, none of the social media stuff matters.
me: it doesn't really matter to me, because i know who josh is and i really think he is a great guy. but if something happened with us, it would be shown for millions of people to see. that scares me a bit.
avani: i understand.

she looks sad for me, like she knows i want this but i'm being held back.

avani: you need to do what's best for you. go with your gut feeling and what feels right.
me: you're right.

i smile softly at her. we walk back to the kitchen and eat breakfast with everyone.

*after eating*

i tap josh on the shoulder and he turns around to look at me.

me: i have to go.

he pulls me into a hug and i feel him lightly kiss my forehead.
