i jump up and fall off the couch. i'm covered in sweat and can't catch my breath. i realize it was just a dream. why did i dream that oh my god. i slowly stand up and wipe away my tears.
me: holy shit..*breathless*
i look at the kitchen clock and it's 6:30. SHIT. josh will be here in 30 mins. i run to the bathroom and take a quick shower. after i get out, i blowdried my hair and let it naturally curl. i put on a quick outfit..

i put on some natural makeup and lip balm.
*downstairs*
i walk towards the glass doors and open them to see josh standing beside a car holding daisy's. my heart melts a little...ugh.
josh: you look....i can't even explain it. me: *laughs* josh: there is not a single word that can describe how beautiful you are, kate. me: josh..
he hands me the flowers and i give him a tight hug.
me: thank you josh. you're amazing.
god he really is making this harder. we get in the car and he won't tell me where he's taking me. as we pull up, he puts a blindfold on me so i can't see. i feel him guide me out the car and inside a building. we stand in an elevator for what seemed like forever and when we walked out the doors, i felt the outside air hit my skin. i seriously had no idea where i was. i grip his arm really tight, kind of feeling scared. he stops and takes the blind fold off...i open my eyes and see this....

then it clicked...we're at the top of the empire state building. oh my god. i look up and see a lot of lights strung above us.

me: j-josh... josh: i made you a promise.
i turn and our eyes meet. he was smiling so big and it made me go crazy. i saw how happy he was to bring me here. he did all of this...just for me? i get lost in the moment as his face gets serious. i feel him leaning closer to me. i get lost in his light blue eyes for a moment, feeling him staring deep into mine. a smile slips from his lips, because he knows i'm falling deeper. and so is he. our noses touch and i feel his lips slowly press against mine. i kiss him back, not caring what's going to happen later. i'm in the moment and want to cherish this feeling and this moment we're in. it turns into a passionate kiss, as he puts his hands around my waist and i pull his head towards me. i tangle my fingers in his hair, never wanting this to end. i don't think i could ever get enough of this...
